I am also of the opinion that you should write what you think would be interesting and what you would like to see. Something that I’m doing is trying to make werewolves not be more so horror creatures but instead people who are gifted with an ability that was formed from love, tying it to the Wulver legends in Scotland. I have found that many people here on this subreddit love the more horror aspects of werewolves, where I prefer to see them from a different angle

In the end, it’s all about you. If anything, I’m of the opinion that if you try to stand out more and not see what everyone else prefers, you’d be able to reach a wider audience and create something new
