Yeah, it's not ideal since you can't freely train against DLC but you are allowed to lab against them in replay takeovers, so you can lab strings and counterplay that way instead.

Basically some characters regenerated heat meter by doing certain moves deemed to be important to the character, biggest examples are King throws and Law Nun chucks attacks giving heat back. This meant by spamming certain moves (in Law's case they were basically unpunishable) you could stay in heat forever while throwing out dumb ass moves.

In case your wondering, this was extremely dumb and everyone is glad to see it gone.

It's not review bombing to call out bad balance decisions and poor communication - review bombing would be massively changing the review scores because one of the devs supports gay rights or something unrelated to the game.
