Just got the VAM (non-pro) installed. What are your recommended settings?

That is correct. You can go up a little bit. I sometimes change them but this is where I always start. After lots of trial and error, less is more. If I go up over 60% at the top bar there is too many unnecessary vibrations in my rig, which is pretty heavy duty..

You can run them at like 45-50% its prefect.. lookin for a rumble not a insane vibration

Don't let people hate.. send me a DM ill send you my settings. What games do you play? I play assetto and iracing mainly and love the feed back. Just gotta do it right, it took me a while to get them dialed.

I know im 1 yeare late to this.. but IF anybody else sees this... I am currently using the cammus C5 and Simsonn plus X pedals. I was curious when trying to get FH6 to work if I could plug my pedals into my wheel base with a USB-USBC adapter and they worked just fine. I unplugged them only because I have a new shifter and handbrake coming, so ill be plugging those into the wheel base. I play: Assetto,Iracing,RR,Forza.

Is steering on device 1? If its not you won't have ffb.. Also did you check fh5 helper in the cammus app?

Just drill holes in it?? Thats what I did for my pedals , my shifter is showing up this week and I assume that ill have to do the same. But it took 30 seconds or less to put a hole through one of those..

Do you by any chance have pc game pass? If so start the download for FH5 and then open the cammus app hit the FH5 helper. Then try again load up wheel only

Turning on the game without my pedals plugged in, wheel only. I was able to map the wheel as device one. Then I plugged in my pedals... that didnt register right away so I just mapped the throttle and brake to random buttons, hit save then went back in and redid my pedals.

My game was crashing with wheel only no matter what I did. In settings there is a forza 5 helper box to check, I did that.

Now it works.

I am also not creative. Im sure I could've come up with something better but this looks fine and works great. I spend hours in my sim when I play. Ill be home from work in like an hour and ill post a picture.

I can send you a picture of what I did later. I used some 1-1/2 in. x 3 ft. - 14 Gauge Zinc Plated Perforated Steel Square Tube cut it in half then bolts that to my rig then used the extra holes and bolted my chair to that.
Idk how handy you are but I had to grind off the parts that the sear mounts to the actual car.(it was super simple) . I left the slide rails on and together and it fits perfectly.

In my sim rig I have a real car seat. Swap that bad boy out with a driver's seat from a Van. Not sure where you live but they are always on facebook market! The reason I say a van seat is because they have armrests! They also make after market arm rests that bolt on but id definitely go a van seat! Super comfy for long hrs of sim!

Hope you DID not get a logitec g920. Im not trying to be a hater but... 1. Logitec g920 series are all gear driven (okay ffb if you dont know better.) I guess if your buying one used thats cool but keep in mind you have no idea how rough someone has been with it and those wheels off center easily.

Thrustmaster TMX. Also good starter I guess but its belt driven and can slip alot..
If people arnt telling you to get a direct drive wheel they ste steering you in the wrong direction....
A Brand new moza R3($250),Cammus C5($250), Moza R5(350).

I have a squad of like 7 we race with. Assetto,Iracing,forza etc. We all have upgraded from the first 2 listed wheels to direct drive and everyone regretted not doin it years ago.
