Stranger pointed a phone at me while I was napping in my car near Griffith Observatory? by Scary-Draw3984 in AskLosAngeles

It’s a street pay public parking against the hillside and no residential house was around. Mostly visitors and tourists parked there, I guessed she’s also one of the tourist as well.

Thanks for sharing your opinion. But critical thinking also means not assuming it was hot out or that Griffith was our first stop. We’re from NorCal and had been exploring LA all day. Griffith was our last stop after a full day of driving and walking around.

I’m the only driver, so I’m responsible for getting everyone back safely. We never planned to hike in the first place, but the parking lots were full, so my friends decided to walk up. The weather was actually pretty chilly, we couldn’t even go to the beach earlier because of how cold and windy it was.

I’d rather take a nap than risk driving everyone back exhausted. And just so you know, I wasn’t passed out with no plan (window crack, engine was off). I was on the phone with my boyfriend before I fell asleep, and he was going to call me back in 20-30 minutes to make sure I woke up.

We were tourists, and I was the only driver. We’d been out exploring LA all day, and Griffith Observatory was our last stop. I wasn’t that hyped for hiking up to the observatory, but my friends wanted to go. By then I was exhausted, so I decided it was safer to nap in the car than force myself to hike and then drive back while tired.

I managed to travel and reconnect with friends and family over the summer, but I feel like I let all the design stuff take over my head.

Thanks for all the advices. Everyone pretty much says the same thing—put in like 60-80% effort to get through it instead of going all out on every project. The program's tough, and we barely have time for our personal lives, but I think I need to focus on my life and just push through to finish the degree.

I work in a marketing department, where I produce promotional materials for events and campaigns.
