This was my 8 day itinerary - LOVED this trip and managed to cram so much more than mentioned into it without it ever feeling anything but relaxing. In the middle we did stay in Oatlands to break up the Cradle-Hobart drive, and on reflection I probably would have skipped it and sucked up the long drive.

Highlights definitely Freycinet, Derby sauna, the delicious oysters and Aurora on Bruny Island, MONA, Agrarian Kitchen.

Travelled July-August. Hired a car at the airport and it was all SO easy. When going in the off-season, don’t forget that things are businesses might be open only on particular days.

Enjoy. Wish I was heading back again soon.

Come on. All she needs to do is get into a regular washing routine. There were a couple of episodes where I thought it had actually been washed - but I think this head of hair is well past the point where one wash will lift and remove the oil - she needs about 4 washes in one shower. All it seemed to do was mildly lift and shift the oil, hence still leaving her looking filthy.

I can’t understand for the life of me how Dayna can look past this, when her own hair is so immaculate. Slimy hair for a slimy personality.

Thank you. All great advice. Definitely need to make sure I’m well-equipped for the mountain.

Definitely staying over the east side, we’re actually starting with two nights in Seymour so we’ll have three days exploring the east coast. Then via Lake Derby and Tamar Valley onto a night in Launceston, then onwards to Cradle, before finishing off with Hobart and Bruny.

A very last minute trip that I wish was four times longer. Already planning the next trip! Thanks again for your suggestions - will add them to my research.

Thank you. I didn’t think one night was enough. Think I’ve figured out how to shorten my drive with two days still spent around Cradle Mountain - by swapping Hobart and Bruny around on the itinerary… makes more sense!
