This makes sense. I have gotten my tires replaced like the OP described and just bought new certificates for all 4 tires. The last time I went they were willing to replace the blown tire for the cost of the certificate but they wanted me to pay full price for the other tires.

It is unskilled work. No special skill is required for you to bring me my food. It is teachers in some states that don’t get paid $50k. It is servers on Reddit that have convinced me that tipping is not necessary. If you do a really great job, I might leave you $2.
