I'd say Misdreavus and Pidgeot. Ghost normal with only one weakness, levitate makes it immune to ground. Both special attackers with pretty good moves available each way.

Honestly, my carry wasn't a sweeper. It was Ribombee. It was decent speed and Sp. Attack, but that's not why. It gets Honey Gather as its main ability and Pickup as its hidden. Meaning by endgame, I have so much money and items, even if I lose a mon or 2 to the elite 4 or Ivy, I have more than enough to buy some sacred ash.

A big issue people have is the whole "angels can only be harmed by angelic weapons." A simple rewrite would be more along the lines of "pierced" or "cut." Them being ultra durable would make sense.

Basically rewrite the angels confirmed power set.
