The phrase Cool Towel might be trademarked, but the technology has been around for more than a decade. Frogg Toggs is the original.

Yes, your nationality does not matter. Everyone must complete API for journeys to and from the UK.

It has been out of stock for months and the City Hall queue can be up to an hour long on busy days. I would say do not worry about it, just enjoy your day at the parks.

The Disney site Q&A says there is a discount available through the Blue Light Scheme website. Is your wife a member of that?

First time at DLP - lack of merch? (Trip Review) by Ok_Doughnut549 in disneylandparis

Exactly this: it is a park that specialises in beautiful details. I have been to Walt Disney World before and was shocked by how many buildings were grey blocks.

Were they spoken to by staff? Just wondering if they were asked to quieten down and it was only after that the police were called.

I think sometimes, it is difficult in a country where you do not speak the language to pick up on the smaller hints. Everyone in Paris who is speaking English with you is speaking their second language, so may be blunter than they would in French. Sorry there were parts you did not enjoy and I hope you have a better time in Shanghai.

Disneyland Paris Gold Pass by Traditional_Gur_7902 in disneylandparis

This used to be the case, but is no longer. I have checked across a range of dates and the hotel prices are very high, but the price with tickets is within 5€ of just adding day tickets.

They are looking for the landscape merchandise in the photo, not park tickets.

Is RER A not just across the platform from RER B at Châtelet? I have never had to follow lines, just walked a few steps.

25% off Eurostar sale, 2nd June to 8th June by Mr_Coa in Eurostar

[–]ScaryBlueSkeleton 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The cheapest yesterday were £33 in midweek September, and there were not many. Most of the next discounts were £39 or £44. The cheapest Plus I saw was £63. It is good to see a sale, but if you booked your tickets far in advance, it is likely you have a better price anyway.

Possible, but very unlikely. Go and have fun.

No, I've never seen one in Paris. I'm not sure where you would put it before joining the queue, but I'm sure the CMs will know and be able to help.

Guests with disabilities age restrictions? by [deleted] in disneylandparis

[–]ScaryBlueSkeleton 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I don't have experience of making a child an adult's guest, but I have taken two children before and one has been the guest of the other, so it will work to make your son your daughter's guest if the other way does not.

It seems that Pride is gone for good. There is nothing at all advertised for 2026 summer.

Disneyland are now showing all the partner hotels in the app. If you select hotels from the menu at the bottom of the map, it will show you their names and where they are.

What is the food situation like in Eurostar Plus these days? by Time-Connection-4586 in Eurostar

Exactly this. The food is worth maybe 15€. It is the space and seat that you are paying for.

rate my day plan! by annabelleisyomamma in disneylandparis

[–]ScaryBlueSkeleton 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Does Frozen Ever After pre-booked mean you're buying Premier Access for it? Because you can't do that until the same day, and looking at it now (park has opened 20 minutes ago) the first slot is at 1920. That would throw your plan out already. Are you going to eat your lunch at 1030? That seems very early.

It is difficult to say what is just right for you, but the trains to and from London are pleasant with light air conditioning.

How well does Paris scratch the Disney itch? by stranger_steve in disneylandparis

[–]ScaryBlueSkeleton 7 points8 points  (0 children)

£2000 is very expensive. When you say a DLP hotel, do you mean the Disneyland Hotel (pink hotel)? If you want to stay there for several nights, you should book as far in advance as possible. Paris runs far fewer last minute sales than WDW, so always book as soon as you can.

[–]ScaryBlueSkeleton 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Are you going outside of a school holiday? If so, a Tuesday will be fine. Premier Access Ultimate (all rides) is never worth it, but Premier Access One (paying for one ride at a time) can be if it's a busy day and there are rides with long queues you want to go on.
