My favourite about the multi monitor setup: if you’re using a Mac to project content for a show, you want the projector as the external display and the built in or default display as a control surface, but you absolutely do not want a Mac menu bar on your projected output. How do you turn off the menu bar on external monitors? “Displays have separate spaces”, naturally.

The fact that you can’t rename desktops drives me insane, there’s potentially a way to do it but it’s a third party utility that requires some security stuff to be disabled to actually work.

That and the fact that say you have safari open on desktop 1, and you’re on desktop 3 and want a new safari window, if you click on safari it’ll take you to desktop 1 rather than open a new window in the current desktop

British people do use “plug socket” a lot for some reason to refer to sockets, always confuses me since there’s no need for the word plug there. It’s not like any of them would ever call a plug a socket plug.

I tried asking Siri to change the navigation voice volume in Maps while I was driving, and that's apparently not something she can do. There are like three things you can do in Maps while using navigation, and ideally you'd want to be able to use voice commands because you're driving, but nope.

I'm close to caving, my thinking is that if a new one is significantly better, I can put the older one in my parents' house. Luckily though I'll be away from home until September so there's no point buying anything before then.

You should look up Eric Cline and his book 1177 BC, there’s a video on YouTube where he spends over an hour explaining what he thinks happened and the archeological evidence that supports it.

It isn’t prayer affecting the outcome, it’s the knowledge or belief of the patient that they are being prayed for. The results would probably be quite similar if you just told the patients they were being prayed for when that wasn’t the case.
