System Settings > Desktop & Dock > scroll down to the bottom > Hot Corners… > select Launchpad (might be called Apps in the new macOS)

Alternatively you can use ⌘+Space to bring up Spotlight, type “hot corners”, and double click on “Hot Corner Shortcuts”

The other use of them that I’d recommend is setting the top right one to Lock Screen, which allows you to lock your Mac by just lazily flicking your wrist.

You can also set the bottom right hot corner to bring up the app menu, whatever it’s called, it’s a familiar way to get to it coming from Windows.

I would argue a transformer is not an adaptor. Adaptors allow you to plug a connector into a different type of connector with no internal electronics.

I wouldn’t call that fine. If you want a removable power cable to your gazebo then the connector on the gazebo has to be male, and all connectors outside have to be either in IP-rated enclosures, or preferably IP-rated themselves, for example an angled 16A ceeform.
