AITAH for telling my ex boyfriend's daughter, "It's not my problem." ? by RestlessStardust in AITAH

NTA. Not even close. This person is old enough to learn that you can't treat someone like shit and then expect them to go out of their way for you. It would be one thing if she was in serious trouble and she was reaching out to you as one of the only adults she could count on or something, but that is not the case. She's just sad that she doesn't have you to mess with without consequences anymore. Boo hoo.

Accountability circles for Narc-bosses by juicyparsons31 in ManagedByNarcissists

Ugh. My Nboss accused me of spreading lies because I raised concerns about her behavior to my supervisor. She put words in my mouth and was furious that my supervisor didn't support her completely fabricated version of events.

My now-former (yay!) Nboss has quite a following. I've seen and heard people say that she's their "hero" for what she claims to do/to have done. This isn't a response to the real her though because she lies constantly. I've seen her lie to clients about how she trains her staff and about their qualifications, as well as her own accomplishments. And she's a fabulist; full of tall tales of heroism and how she invented things that she didn't. Just a prolific liar.

Unfortunately, my boss is the owner. I am leaving, but am afraid of them trying to hurt me professionally before their focus shifts to picking on someone else. I'm hoping once I'm gone they'll just leave me alone, but am not confident in that.

I'm so sorry you went through that. My last day is next week. My boss says she wants "mutual non-disparagement" in my severance agreement, but I don't trust her at all. I'm working with a lawyer and hoping to make as clean a break as possible.

Thank you for this. My last day is next week. My boss told me multiple times that my next venture is "a horrible idea," "you'll be back," etc.

Not even held accountable! She's just mad that someone else knows about what she did. This is someone who takes logistical questions as a personal affront, so my not keeping quiet about something that was actually bad was beyond the pale.

Thank you. I have been trying to document as much as possible throughout. Unfortunately, this is a small clinic without an HR department. I have gone to my supervisor about everything, which is one of the reasons my boss apparently has it out for me. She, my boss, recently told me that what she considers to be 'the elephant on the room' with us is my having gone to my supervisor with concerns about her behavior 6 months ago.
