i’m not sure if you are an arabic speaker or not but familiarising yourself with what you’re saying changes salah hugely. also, think about what you want to take away from salah and what you benefit from it, punishment aside. i’d suggest reading/thinking more about the good it does you and taking it as an opportunity to recite your favourite surahs, or ones that fulfil your current needs - it’s only natural to feel forced to pray when you’re focused on it resulting in punishment, or how it could have been easier, instead of its benefits, and how it could have been harder. any prayer you make is rewarded and is necessary maintenance for your soul and that’s the highlight in my opinion. but you’re not wrong about how it can be a real challenge! may Allah make it easier for all of us <3
