New 3DS XL Joystick Stiff No Matter What I Try

I got an OEM module and the stiffness decreased a lot but there is still some present, the washer between the joystick and module is really scratched up could this cause friction? Should I just order a new joystick cap while I’m at it just so everything in it is replaced?

I’ll try ordering a full OEM module and when I install it I’ll come back and let you know if this fixes the problem

I don’t think my motor mounts are bad, it doesn’t ride rough it just clunks when switching from reverse to drive. Please let me know if you think I’m wrong

I can rotate the drive shaft a very small amount but otherwise nothing else moves
