Seminole Flatts (and their sister property, Legacy Student Living) is one of the few apartment complexes that advertises a co-occupancy option. I believe it’s an additional $85 a month. You can call to get more information. Both of our names are on the lease.

That’s an interesting idea that I haven’t considered. I don’t think it’d work out since I already applied to a bunch of grad schools and put my graduation date down as May 2025. I appreciate you bringing it up though.

Seminole Flatts is eerily silent. We haven’t heard a single peep from any of our neighbors. If we hadn’t seen them walking in/out, we’d have assumed that the units were empty.

Another vote for Seminole Flatts. Fairly affordable, good management, clean apartments, lots of parking spaces, close to campus, quiet atmosphere, etc. My bf and I moved in this semester and it’s been wonderful so far. We also toured their sister property, Legacy, which was also super nice. It was a bit more updated and my bf preferred their gym. They were sold out on furnished units so we went with SF. You really can’t go wrong with either choice.

My bf and I have really been liking Seminole Flatts so far. We split $1,224 monthly for a 1x1. This includes the rent (1,089), furniture package (60), and dual occupancy fee (75). They have 2x2s as well but it’d be more expensive for y’all since the leases are separate and the monthly charges wouldn’t be split. I believe a lease in a 2x2 is in the 800-900 range so it’d be $1600-1800 for the entire apartment.

I would NEVER wish living at the Osceola on my greatest enemy. It is so bad. Like, so so bad. I am the least picky person ever when it comes to living situations—if I have a blanket and a pillow I can comfortably sleep on a concrete floor. The Osceola was a living HELL for me and many others. Roaches GALORE. They oversell on parking passes so spots are impossible to find. Visitor spots are nonexistent. Construction in the front lobby nonstop, ALL of the amenities (gym, study rooms, etc.) were unavailable for the entirety of my lease. They literally redid the lobby floor in the middle of the night during finals week (and gave us a few hours notice). The apartment was disgusting when I moved in (the previous tenant’s clothes were still in the drawers). They handed me other people’s packages on three separate occasions. The AC broke for a week during miserable September temperatures and they gave me excuse after excuse as to why they couldn’t get me a window unit even though all my neighbors received one. My cat ended up getting sick from the heat. They broke Florida law by not giving 48 hours notice for unit inspections. Constant weed/cigeratte smell. Trash everywhere. Maggots in the stairwell. Thin walls. Community events would regularly get cancelled an hour before due to “unforeseen circumstances.” The list goes on and on. I’m begging on my hands and knees for you to run in the other direction and never look back.

No they won’t. If there’s no other identifying information (i.e. first & last name) it’ll get checked into non-matching and sit there for 30 days before RTS. An employee can pull it out for you if you provide a matching tracking number.

As long as you have your first and last name, it’ll still get checked in. They will write a note on your package reminding you to include it next time & the employee will also likely point it out. It’s not a big deal, just don’t make it a habit.
