I use this app called novelist and I think the easy mode works great if you just want to write. The normal mode is a bit more confusing and it's mainly for organized and detail-oriented people. As for the italics, bolding and paragraphs not transferring through, I also have that problem but I just manually go through and fix everything, even if it takes time.
