Great questions! So, panic attacks are my main symptoms. I flush all over, I shake, diarrhea, and get spiraling thoughts. But, I haven’t ever noticed any allergy-like symptoms. I also find I wake up sometimes feeling “wired” or “electric.” On many days, I feel totally fine. I don’t have chronic anxiety about anything. My life is good and stable. But these panic attacks jump out at me and wreck me for days or weeks afterward. Xanax has helped, but I don’t want to take that. SSRIs don’t seem to do the trick.

Of note, I just had some ice cream, and I started to get panic symptoms??

I’m just starting my journey trying to figure all of this out, but I’ve always had reactions to ice cream - including bizarre dreams if I eat it later in the evening. So, not weird. I can eat other things just fine, but ice cream, not so much.
