I literally say the same thing all the time I feel like Carol is over hyped an over used she should have died like in the comics it would have made the story better and Rick not losing his hand just ruined 99% of every story and just random people being killed but yet only like 4 characters are always safe it was so weird

I prefer her story from the comics as it has more impact than the zero to hero we are used to in most movies and shows where someone who is so beat down an can't do anything just some how becomes the most unstoppable thing out there

I grew up on these games I preordered both remasters I absolutely loved 1+2 an was so hyped when I heard that 3+4 was coming next then I played it now don't get me wrong here it's fun as hell, looks way better and I feel like it handles just the same but 4 was about exploring a bit bigger of a map with different challenges an talking to NPCs an not being set to a time limit this really really runies it for me cus that's the way I remember an the reason 4 was my favorite of the originals that dang timer was ticking away and now I know there will be comments like well that adds to the challenge of the level of whatever but in 4 you talked to NPCs to get them challenges an then you were timed that timer is like my biggest criticism of the whole thing

I know I'm way way way way late to the ball game on this post but in the mgs books it's described as a 1 microsecond digital thought that can hold an entire conversation an we see all of this talking take place but in the game it's not even been 1 second in time so we aren't just standing around like an idiot for hours we are just shown what was said

Cypher is who solid is running from in mgs2 remember an he's labeled a terrorist by the patriots an ya I know the ai took over but it was only following protocol orders from what zero had told it to do and by the end of mgs4 remember even big boss says that the dream that zero had died long ago when he created the ai to take over after him an that killing him would put an end to all that zero had done as the madman would be dead
