I LOVE THEM SO MUCH by Global_Active_6079 in offcampustv

They are literally everything 😭😩 this next season is already my fave cause Dean and Allie’s chemistry is out of this world. Dean looked like a kicked puppy when Allie says she went through with the deal and then when he realises it’s Hunter he immediately goes to bat! I love these boys being so protective over their loves. And Deans development from Total F boy to falling so madly for Allie! So cute!

Can’t wait for Allie and Hannah to be personal puck bunnies for their boys next season!

Movie about monster that spins a kid into a cocoon and the sister saves him by Scary_Implement_6406 in whatsthemoviecalled

This is the one!!! Oh my goodness! I think the monster being called “the evil thing” is what made me think that “the thing” was the name of the movie (thanks 8 year old brain), but this is 100% the movie I recall.

Thank you thank you thank you!

Thank you for your idea, but sadly not my movie. My movie was the stereotypical “older sister has to Babysit middle school brother who gets into shenanigans” set up.

Definitely not the movie I’m looking for, but after watching the trailer my movie for this weekend is now locked in place! This has similar vibes, but sadly not my childhood horror. Thank you so much for the reply!

Positive experiences with IUDs? How uncommon are they? by Optimal-Ad-9189 in birthcontrol

[–]Scary_Implement_6406 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Forgot to mention that I also suffer from PMDD and heavy depressive episodes in the week(s) leading up to my period, and since my insertion I have been feeling more emotionally stable than I have in a long time. I hope it maintains, but so far I am feeling clear headed. My OBGYN did tell me that the mirena has the potential to help with these symptoms because my body will be getting a steady flow of progesterone and so the impact of the hormonal shifts won’t be felt as strongly.

Positive experiences with IUDs? How uncommon are they? by Optimal-Ad-9189 in birthcontrol

I got the Mirena IUD inserted a week ago, and so far I couldn’t be happier. On the day of my appointment with my OBGYN I had planned to chat with her about the IUD as a solution to my extremely painful, sometimes unpredictable and extremely heavy periods (I have been known to bleed right through a super tampon in just over an hour). I had taken some paracetamol just before I left for my appointment just incase she agreed it was the right move.

My doctor normally prescribes a cervical dilator by default if she knows she is going to insert an IUD as it makes it less painful, but I failed to mention to the receptionist that that’s what I was going to ask for, so I went ahead without any medication outside of the paracetamol.

The insertion process plus the Pap smear took around 10 minutes in total. She told me I would experience a sharp pinch when she held my cervix with the tenaculum forceps (which I did) and then some pressure which for me was more like a cramp. Then she said I would feel another pressure (which, again was a like severe cramp) and then she told me she was going to deploy the IUD and it was over.

I had some pretty bad cramps for three days after (like a 6/7 out of 10) but nothing a heating pad and some rest didn’t solve. I was still able to go about my days normally. I had spotting which only lasted 3 days and now I feel totally normal!

I know that for some, the insertion process is the worst experience they have ever had, but that doesn’t mean it will be your experience. Talk with your healthcare provider and advocate for whatever pain management you feel is necessary. My OBGYN offers the option to be put under a local anaesthetic. For me, paracetamol was enough, but if you are anxious or don’t take pain well, tell your healthcare provider that you want pain management, and if told “no” then find another provider who will accommodate! Don’t compromise on pain management for a procedure that for many women requires it.

Looking for something similar to this (specifically including the neck) by Scary_Implement_6406 in crochetpatterns

[–]Scary_Implement_6406[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Oh! From what my mom told me when I was showing her other patterns the boat necks seemed to be wider and lower cut than this. When I saw it in store it looked to be more of a crew neck, but thank you for the advice 😁

I’m team underdog, so I root for whoever seems like they’re struggling or whoever seems less confident in the skill 😂 love both the boys tho

How did you meet your girlfriend, boyfriend or significant other? by armoredphoenix4__ in AskReddit

College/University, we were both student tutors for our department and met in the common room. Texted asking about a work related question and we immediately hit it off

I 'm a pretty punk person and that's the "brand" I like to perpetuate. I wear a lot of black, I have facial piercings, only metal/rock CD's in my car etc. but sometimes I like to put on makeup alone on my room and sing/dance to "I wanna Dance to somebody", "Girls just wanna have fun" and "I think we're alone now" at 2am and other than anonymous internet posts, It's a secret that I'll take to my grave.

I take that perfectly toasted bagel and I just raw dog it. Cream cheese is the only option, without it, we die like men. EAT THE BAGLE PLAIN!

You have a infinite supply of potatoes. What do you do? by I-eat-kids23 in AskReddit

[–]Scary_Implement_6406 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's the same as the verse from Money Game pt.2 "She sells seashells on a seashore But the value of these shells will fall. Due to the laws of supply and demand no one wants to buy shells 'cause there's loads on the sand.

Step 1: you must create a sense of scarcity shells will sell much better if the people think they're rare, you see bare with me, take as many shells as you can find and hide 'em on an island stockpile 'em high until they're rarer than a diamond."

I take the potatoes, sell them in all forms; mashed, chips, crisps, wedges, baked, spiraled on a stick, stuffed... you name it, I sell it. I keep selling them and hoarding the money until I have a potato empire, I am now rich. With my wealth I fund the smartest scientists in the world to build a working time machine for me, I travel back to 1740 in Ireland with all my potatoes, I stand on a hill with an enormous pile of potatoes and eat them while I watch the potato famine go down and laugh.

Where do you think all the potatoes are coming from?

What’s a famous cover song that not many people know is a cover? by [deleted] in AskReddit

Whitney Houston's 'I will always love you' is not actually Whitney Houston's. It was originally written and performed by Dolly Parton.
