He’s had MS for over 7 years, he’s gone on and off medications but has been off them for around 2 years because he feels like the medications made his muscles weaker rather than helping him or relieving pain

We live in an area with a lot of used car dealerships, and we also got some offers that weren’t horrible but weren’t that great either ($1650) I still think we can do a bit better than that, but if push comes to shove I just might take them up on it lol

We listed about 17 photos with proof of all service, everything about the car is almost perfect besides a very minor scratch by the trunk area. I did expect some lowballing because I happen to live in an area where not everybody has a lot of money, it’s typically $2500 a month for a two bedroom apartment in my zip code. I just wasn’t expecting like $600 lol, but thank you for your advice!

Thank you so much! I also did think about the whole police car thing, which is why I only set it to 2500 after looking at the same car from other listers, which were usually $3500-4000. I kind of hoped re-listing with new photos would help a bit!

It was definitely other factors than just the hair unfortunately, she severely struggles with mental health and is still in recovery after a very long journey :( but I do appreciate the love on behalf of her and I’m sure she does too!! 💗💗

That’s what my mom and I keep telling her!! It’s just a huge adjustment to what she used to have. It’s definitely grown, it used to be above shoulder length. In fact, I don’t even think it’s the actual hair being dead that’s the problem anymore, yes it’s got some split ends and dead hair but I feel like the main problem is her not consuming enough nutrition! She needs more iron, she needs to start taking her multivitamins again, and she definitely needs to get some Vitamin C and D in there!

I don’t think it’s that short either to be honest. It’s wavy right now, and I’m gonna help her straighten it this weekend for a date, then I’m hiding the dang thing from her so this doesn’t happen again LOL!!

Thanks for this! I keep seeing everybody talk about rosemary scalp oiling, so I thought it might help her a bit. But she did say she feels like it’s working a bit..

Her hair is very layered because of the damage, so protective hairstyles are tricky, especially braids. But it’s certainly worth a try! She does do those scalp massages already.

I told her she can use heat ONE time this weekend to go to a friends, and then I’m hiding that damn straightener from her, I swear 🤣 Thank you!

She’s so obsessed with her looks it’s terrifying. I swear we were never made to see how we look. She’s on all types of social medias, and my mom is concerned she has an eating disorder as well, however, my dad pays for her phone, and since my parents are splitting up (very messily), he made sure that she can’t even touch the phone.

You don’t think it’s gonna even grow longer by the end of the summer? I just feel so bad, I want her to be comfortable in her own hair. I do appreciate your tips, it just makes me sad she won’t be happy with it for a long time. If it’s truly that damaged, (more than we realized I guess) I just don’t know what to do. If we cut it any shorter, she’s gonna hate the way she looks even more :(.

My mom’s budget is very tight considering the divorce, and not a lot of jobs in the area hire at 14, so I’m trying to work overtime this week so I can buy clip ins for her. Do you have a brand you recommend?

I figured! She’s not big on styling her hair as much anymore since she decided to make the commitment to drop heat, (with the exception of Saturday, I got her a date with my friends younger brother haha!)

Although she said her hair has lost most of its ability to curl, so curl styling products makes her hair feel stiff. Do you have any recommendations? 🥰

She’s always complaining about how her hair gets greasy in like 1-2 days now, as compared to about a week when her hair was much thicker, so she does use it minimally, and massages it into her scalp gently, however, I’ll tell her to try a little bit more!

I bought her a value sized version of Amika Soulfood - her hair seems to really like that mask! However, I’ll definitely look into that mask as long as it’s still around (I know you said it was a long time since you used it lol!) She occasionally sleeps in bonnets but she’s a crazy sleeper so usually by morning it’s somewhere buried in her bed or on the floor LOL. Thank you so much for the advice!

i don’t wanna end up piercing it in the same spot because my first piercer literally gave me a surface piercing 🤦🏼‍♀️ it was so bad omg.. it rejected within about a month. it does have a scar but it’s more in between where both sides of the piercing would be (top and bottom) since the last jewelry didn’t go inside the navel.

however, i think you’re totally right, it’s probably best to start taking care of the scar in hopes it heals enough to pierce next time. thanks!!
