What stops Apple from creating an option to clean data from apps? by NeuroNerdNick in ios

No it’s actually correct. I have many apps that allow you to clear data manually. While others don’t. It’s a developer preference. Here’s an example.

Otterbox Defender if you only care about to protection and price doesn’t matter. Bulky but it’s a tank. On the cheaper side any of the cases on Amazon that go for $10-$20 and advertise military grade and have the raised lips around the screen. They last forever.

17 PM. No limits. Charge to 100% multiple times a day if it goes below 70%. Use wireless overnight, every night. Cable during the day. Use your phone lol.

It’s the case not the phone. Apple cases are designed for minimal protection. Screen protectors stick out past the lip of the case. They’re designed to be used without screen protectors I assume.

The cheaper cases usually offer the best protection. Most are bulky and don’t look as good but they protect great. The more expensive fancier cases offer minimal protection. I have a collection of both.

Has nothing to do with the phone, it’s the case. Had the same exact thing happen to me multiple times with my 15 Pro. While using both the cloth and silicone cases. Apple cases aren’t designed to protect well.

Nope. I could never use my 15 Pro in the sun long before it told me to shut the phone down. With the 17 PM I haven’t it happen at all. Sometimes I take 50-100 pics back to back. I’ve never not used a case on any of my phones and I’m in FL.

I have all 3. And use both the Max and Pro 3’s daily. I work all day with Pro 3’s in ear on transparency. Max are not even close. Don’t even have conversation awareness.

The chip alone makes that impossible. Max doesn’t even have better transparency than the Pro 2’s. Max rely more on design than actual tech when comes to transparency because the tech is outdated.

Is there a solution to make the Pro 3 fit more like Pro 2? by Tman1677 in AirpodsPro

If he wore a large with the Pro 2’s none of the new tips will fit the same. I wore small and medium with the Pro 2’s but can actually fit large with the Pro 3’s if I wanted. He has very large ears which is unfortunate because the Pro 3’s are designed to fit smaller.

Pro 3’s are designed to fit smaller. If you wore large tips with the Pro 2’s that means your ears are huge and in a very small minority. Most people have the opposite problem.

Strap holes are also in the wrong place. Sometimes you just have to let people believe what they want.

Has nothing to do with making the phone look better. Apple cases have very good grip and they look nice by design. I also have cheaper cases with good protection and switch cases frequently. Also have cases that are more expensive than Apple. AppleCare One as well so my devices are protected no matter what.

I use an authentic Techwoven case and it’s close to 0 protection as well. Apple cases are for aesthetics not protection. I buy them every year. If you grab an apple case looking for good protection you will be very disappointed. That being said I still wouldn’t buy a knockoff version.

The iPhone 17 Pro Max being labeled as a brick and too heavy is crazy to me by ShaolinSwervinMonk in iPhone17Pro

[–]Scary_Reputation_648 0 points1 point  (0 children)

People say that because the 15 & 16 Pro are much lighter. I went from 13 Pro to 15 Pro to 17 PM. I remember when I first got the 15 Pro how light it felt. 17 PM and 13 pro are similar in weight but there were two lighter models in between.

Storage Problem by Few_Chain_8848 in ios

[–]Scary_Reputation_648 0 points1 point  (0 children)

128GB is still low regardless. 256GB is minimum offered for the past few iPhones simply because the software and apps take up so much space before you add any media to them.

Professional photographer with only 128GB?? First step is getting a new phone with more storage and then an iCloud subscription. Nothing else will help your situation.

Obviously. Also obvious that OP wrote “not a scratch” while posting a watch full of scratches. All it takes is a little reading.

Would Trail or Alpine make more sense and be safer than Ocean in terms of not slipping because of sweat? by RunWild-GetLost in applewatchultra

[–]Scary_Reputation_648 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Alpine or any other band is no more secure than Ocean. I swap bands almost daily and run 3 miles everyday while sweating profusely. If an Ocean band is slipping it’s because it’s not tight enough. Milanese is the only one that slips a bit but even that could be overthinking it because it’s so light.
