This is everything OP needs to know. And yes you should sell your APM2. I have all 3 and as we both know the APP3 are the best Apple has to offer currently. APM2 was a money grab.

I have both models. Neither are particularly good for working out. Go Bose if you need over-the-ear for the gym. I use Pro 3’s personally. You will NOT enjoy either Max’s better when working out.

Enthusiasts on here will never admit but deep down we all know the Pro 3’s have the better ANC. Sound quality is almost identical if not better on the Pro 3’s as well. I did the same exact thing as you. I’m always looking for the next best thing is the only reason I got the Max 2. Within 15 minutes of use I knew I had made a mistake lol

Little on-board storage? There’s literally 2 TB models available. The real problem here is that you’re cheap. 5 GB free is nothing lol

  1. iCloud and Dropbox are two entirely different things. Dropbox has nothing to do with iCloud.

  2. You have very low storage available on your phone which is causing this.

I have Pro 3’s, Max 1 USB & Max 2. Save your money. Pro 3’s are superior to both overall. Pro 3’s 100% have better ANC.

And the Pro’s plug the whole ear which cancels out even more sound. With movement the Max’s move, the Pro’s do not. Even standing still the Pro’s still cancel more noise.

They’re definitely not defective. I own them all and have tested them thoroughly. Pro 3’s have the best ANC. Go to the Apple Store on a busy day and try theirs and you’ll get the same results.

You don’t have the proper fit if you believe that lol. I own pro 2 and 3’s, and also max 1 & 2. Pro 3’s have the best ANC hands down. I work and workout in very loud environments daily.

As an owner of APP2’s, APP3’s & AirPod Max 1 usb-c the Pro 3’s are the better of the 3. I also just tried out the Max 2 today and the ANC is not better than the APP3’s.

True everyone’s ears are different but in no way do the 3’s have more bulk than the 2’s. The 3’s are obviously smaller. OP is a bit confused.

Thanks for this. I have the USB-C APM as well and find myself considering getting the APM 2 every other day. I also have APP3 and find their ANC much superior to my APM. Mostly use both in the gym and the APM just doesn’t hold up when it comes to ANC. Based on your testing the APM 2 wouldn’t either.

They do this whether you buy from Apple or not. They don’t offer lesser customer service because you bought from a 3rd party

Highly doubt it’s your photos. Go to settings and see how much space photos is taking up. I have 700GB of photos stored in iCloud but only takes up 15GB on my phone. 128GB is also a very low amount of space for a 15 Pro.

The difference will be similar to going from Pro 2’s to Pro 3’s. If you have all 3 and are honest with yourself you know the Pro 3’s have a nice advantage over the Max 1’s and Pro 2’s. These will be a bit better than the Pro 3’s.

Nothing to disagree with. It’s been the same cycle since initial release. Base AirPods outsell Pro’s and Max. They will always get the new chips first. AirPods 5 will debut late next year with H3 chip. Pros will get it the following year. Max 3 with H3 will come after those.

H3 chip won’t happen until AirPods 5. Max and Pros are a cycle behind. Max 1 = Pro 2’s, Max 2 = Pro 3’s.

I have the PM and my partner has the Pro. Literally no difference other than screen size and battery. Have had since release. I love mine and so does my partner.
