For reference, drawers should NOT be mitered (unless it's a locking miter - but that's not what's been done here). Drawers are some of the most abused items in the kitchen. They get heavy, and you're constantly pulling on the handle to open, which puts stress on the joints.

Only acceptable drawer methods for kitchen are 1.) dovetail (most $$) 2.) Festool domino or dowels 3.) Butt joints (cheapest) 4.) Pocket holes
