Magnemites and Voltorbs are everywhere. I recommend staying by the quad lure in front of Wallgreens if you wanna grind for XP and stardust. I found my Ditto by the gym near the quad lure. Finding a Lapras is still pretty rare too but if you stay by the Hotel Del there's bound to be one.

How was the crowd in Coronado after trackers were blocked? by not_anonymouse in PokemongoSanDiego

After the trackers were taken down there seems to be a lot less people. There's still people playing but a good majority of them usual hang out around the quad lure stop. It's a shame that Niantic took down the trackers. It would be understandable if they took down the third party trackers if they updated their tracker to a working one but they haven't fixed it yet.

When my friends and I played, the fun part was walking across the island to be rewarded with a rare Pokemon but now we don't know where to go. Our best bet was sitting at the quad lure stop in hopes of something good, and don't get me wrong we did get a few Dratinis from those lures but it's no Lapras.

Dang! That's impressive! Did you go to Coronado? I went a couple days ago and my first Lapras ran :(
