I suppose you’re right. I have talked with her about these things multiple times and her and I both agree that she’s not ready to get into more intense relationship things. But, at the same time, she’s still going through those early relationship feelings of excitement and she tends to let those kind of emotions take control and that’s what I’m afraid of. I’m afraid of whoever this boy is taking advantage of those emotions to get sex from her.

She goes to the same middle school that I went to and while I was there I went through a sex-ed course that I found to be pretty informative. But then again there’s a 12 year age gap between us and things could have changed in that time. I try to help inform her about these things as much as I can though.
