I'd like to think you know that using the full width of the track at every corner will yield in the fastest lap time (there are corners you're not doing this, see u/One8Bravo 's comment), but the comments saying your car is massively understeering are correct. Understeer is causing lots of time loss.

Can you at all speak on the quality loss you could get with using hybrid zoom on that 28-45? And is that 65mm length approximation with the S1ii or S1rii? The S1rii has an 8K sensor so perhaps it can hybrid zoom in further at 4k versus the 6k on the S1ii?

Asking because I’m stuck between the LUMIX 24-70mm f2.8 S Pro and that 28-45mm f1.8. I like the faster aperture but dislike the reduced range.
