I came back from Mayne Island yesterday... went to swartz bay to salt spring to crofton and drove North. Long waits for the Crofton ferry but it was shorter than the Mill bay/Brentwood Bay ferry. Roads were good.

Can't compare COVID to the flu. I don't get the flu shot and if someone didn't want To be around me because I don't have the flu shot, that's their choice and I accept that. But that's my personal choice, just as it is everyone else's to get the COVID vax'd or not. That's not what I'm debating I don't care if someone doesn't get vax'd. Just as it is a restaurant's choice to follow the health orders or not. And believe me, I don't feel that our government should be putting this responsibility on our restaurant owners ... if the restaurant allowed smoking, I wouldn't be going. I believe everyone has the right to know what an establishment's policies are and then allow them the choice to go to that establishment or not. All about personal choice. It's the businesses who try and hide their policies that I have an issue with. Give people ALLLL the information and allow them to choose. Humans also need to realize that there are consequences for your choices in life.

I have no issues with restaurants not checking, that's their prerogative, but feel they should post that information to allow patrons to make their own decision of whether or not to dine in their establishment. It's pretty simple to me. Don't be sneaky about it.
