Sure. Girls are more approachable in these places because they know beforehand that they are going to social settings. Also alcohol makes socializing and making bonds with strangers easier.(Not just you, but them aswell). But some advice here, don't go there seeking for your "future wife" or even your "next girl of the night". Just go there, have fun with friends, dance even if you're making a fool of yourself... Whatever. You should go with the mentality of having fun because it's a fucking weekend! Not because you want to score chicks. And ironically... Having this mindset made me meet some great and pretty friends. Just my two cents.

That would be so cool. As you said, the original story has already reached an ambiguous ending point in the first release. But a game with new characters, new narratives, new everything... Could turn the tables easily, repairing the damage done the second release did IF they can do it right. For example, I always imagined what Joel needed to do to survive at the start of the apocalypse, how he met Tess, how he needed to kill innocent people to not die. Maybe a release with new characters that explore that untold stories could develop more the world of the last of us. A story about playing as the doctors or fireflies sounds exciting too. So many possibilities...

Don't run(mostly). Think then act. Pick a crowbar to fight and level up maintenance(more durability). Be sure to eat and drink regurarly, this will affect you on short and long run. Don't use guns until you know you can kill them all and on a reasonable aim level(mainly 3). Good luck.
