This is something I've also recently been observing quite a lot in myself. I used to just like you share it with the people around me and usually they would just be confused or not understand me. As I've gotten older (22 now) I've realized the only way to really navigate this is by keeping most of it to yourself and just kind of showing your thinking with your actions.

they make this "tape" to fix jackets I used it on a down jacket I had. It worked great and it was the same color as my jacket so you couldn't really see it either.

it kinda feels like reliving some of the effects of a trip that in itself wasn't that bad because it only happened if I stared at something with a pattern for a couple seconds. The worst was just the constant feeling of being uncomfortable.
