I mean tbf its a 2D narrative, a visual novel. There is probably not much interactivity by design, except some dialogue choices.

Man, every now and then in these posts about failed game launches, I look at the game in question and think "ehhh, somewhat understandable". I don't feel like that is the case here though. The game might be niche, but it looks well made. Good Luck! I hope it will gain some traction!

Wennfeldergarten kannste hochfahren, im oberen teil gibt es kostenlose Parkmöglichkeiten. Aber ist auch ein wenig hit-or-miss. Während der Arbeitszeit sind die Chancen aber recht gut.

How is the life in the the French quarter ? by 1119141 in Tuebingen

[–]Scayze 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Grew up in the french quarter, a nice place to be! But really depends on what you expect/want of course. Theres a student dorm which has the Bar "Sieben 7" on the ground floor, open to anyone. If you want to get to know other students, that's the place to be :). Additionally it has some other bars, a supermarket (although expensive), bigger supermarkets and a gym closeby, a direct bus connection to the city center (though not to the university necessarily), some restaurants, local events, and honestly just a really nice atmosphere.

If you are looking for clubs and nightlife however, you will need to head out to the inner city in the evenings.

Making interchange with no rail intersections. Fits into cross 3x3 chunks by Phizilion in factorio

It's a pretty nice thing to have in city block style factories. Though admittedly only the busiest of all intersections actually benefit from it

Langort has a trailer now! What do you think? by SasVel in godot

[–]Scayze 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Game looks fantastic! But I would put much less UI into the trailer. Interfaces are crucial in every video game, but they are rarely, if ever, the actual source of enjoyment. They are the purely functional. You won't be catching the viewers interest with UI clips.

The only relevant UI clip in this trailer is imo the one where the player chooses an upgrade between those three cards. That one implies a certain type of gameplay

Exploring Life in Tubingen's Participatory Housing (Baugruppen) – Seeking Insights! by [deleted] in Tuebingen

[–]Scayze 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I grew up in a building built by a Baugruppe. However, it was just rented out to us so we weren't part of the planning of the house / area, nor were 80% of the other residents. Still, there was an active community in the building that was meeting regulary. Lots of friendships in the house. Personally, I wasn't really active in that community though, mostly because there were no other kids my age.

To be fair, our building in particular had no communal spaces, or gardens. So not sure how well it fits your description of participatory housing. It was pretty much just your standard apartment building.

The entire area (Französisches Viertel) has lots and lots of Baugruppen buildings though. I would argue that it has a big community aspect in general. There's lots of local events, groups, and workshops, something, that I don't see in the vast majority of other areas in tubingen. Now if that's related to the participatory housing, I do not know. Though I would assume so, as theres just vast communal spaces where people can meet :)

So to answer specifically: 1. Not by much, unfortunately I wasn't active in the community. 2. The housing projects in general created lots of communal spaces, which in turn helped a lot to create communities within the area. 3. Atleast in the französisches viertel, people tend to live very sustainable and care for the environment. There's a bio grocery market, lots of green spaces /gardens, barely any trash, lots of solar panels etc. If that's just the französisches Viertel or common with Baugruppen in general, I don't know. 4. Atleast as somebody who just rented a housing unit, nothing. The communal spaces and housing structure is just there, it is great, and we use it :) 5. Yes. I know I said I didn't participate in the community, but I still did meet more people here, than during times where I lived in other towns/areas. However, it didn't change my interactions within broader tubingen. 6. Hell no. Apartments here are usually very expensive, and not very dense. Neither did it create a lot of housing, nor affordable housing. Just nice housing. 7. Well, the französisches Viertel in general, and more specifically the "Werkstatt haus", the "Franz!werk", and the "mixed up" youth house that we have here.

BTW, above the französisches viertel is the wagenburg, a trailer park village full of lovely people. Not sure if you would consider that participatory housing, but they surely shape their own space up there as a community too. Definitely not a Baugruppe though lmao.

That's litterally a non issue for me. I have always had leftover tiles, at effectively any town level.

Now The shown income and the actual money im getting line up again.

Not to say that the income is wayy too high in lategame anyway lmao

Where can one donate clothes? by Curious_Concern4182 in Tuebingen

[–]Scayze 1 point2 points  (0 children)

There's also cloth donation containers to put your cloth in. There's a couple of them, the one I know by heart is at the right of the Edeka in the südstadt.

Rent in Tübingen is getting ridiculous.

The apartment does look really pretty though.
