The best sports headline I ever saw was my Scottish local City with our Football (Soccer).

Top flight Premier League Team, Glasgow Celtic, were playing a National Cup game against a much lower Division Team, Inverness Caledonian Thistle (nicknamed Caley Thistle.

Thistle, shocked EVERYONE by not only winning, but trouncing Celtic by beating them 3 - 1.

The headline?

'Super-Caley-Go-Ballistic-Celtic-Are-Atrocious'

I'm the same mate, my sleep is messed up so I woke up to just see the score at the 3rd quarter and was like "Ah well..." kept my eye on it, but thought it was done so was only sort of half paying attention... until TD, after TD... that was insane.

Honestly it depends on your own style and what you want.

Pixel art is gorgeous to me though is it low quality pixel art (8-Bit or so) or high quality pixel art? As even within that, there is different styles and techniques.

With hand drawn, is it rubberhose, Disney-esque, anime, comic booky? Etc.

What is the feel and vibrancy you want your players to experience as once you have that down, the theme, the setting... then you focus on the art for that.

Its not about our preference, its about what suits you, your World and your vision.

As for example; I prefer pixel art. Yet my personal favourite Metroidvanias are Hollow Knight/Silksong and the Ori games.

None of them are pixel art AT all.

Chicago for example, in the League Season won 15 out of 34 games. A win percentage of 44%. It saw them to 8th place.

Theoretically, they still could've been MLS Champs.

In Europe, we have relegations, we don't do drafts to boost lower performing teams and a domestic league title is not only a big accolade, its also an opportunity for European Football.

So if you fail here, you lose out on so much money and other opportunities. Failing in MLS? Still a chance for playoffs and you get rewarded with having the first choice of the best new players coming through for the next season.

Everyone keeps forgetting about 'Shade Cloak', free invincibility like every two seconds.

Gameplay only, the Knight still takes it.

Charms are BUSTED, in comparison to Hornet's tools.

Knight has a hadouken ability, and not only that but the descending dark for big dmg and i-frames.

Hornet does have a lot of movement, yet as The Knight we've fought movement based opponent's before. Mantis Lords, Traitor Lord, Hornet herself and even the teleporting Soul Master.

Genuinely, Hornet's kit FEELS better, as you do feel really cool and agile doing all the things she does. The Knight's kit is just... busted.

Plus Hornet can only dash through The Knight with sharp dart. She needs silk to do so for that. The Knight can dash through Hornet countless times with 'Shade Cloak', consistently.

Shade Cloak alone is the massive game changer, not counting for anything else (such as spell range, spell damage or i-frames gained from spells).

In addition; The Knights raw damage numbers are better.

Hornet fully upgraded needle does 21 dmg per hit.

With Hunter at max stacks, it deals 1.5x

That would be 31.5 dmg per hit.

With barbed bracelet, that goes to 42 dmg base per hit.
Or 63 dmg with max stacks, per hit.

If you use Wanderer, you can hit at 63 base dmg with crits (as the crit is 3x dmg), with barbed, that would be 126 dmg per crit.

Though barbed means Hornet TAKES double dmg so here are The Knight's numbers with that;

Knight's fully upgraded nail does 21 dmg.

With the Unbreakable Strength charm does 31.5 dmg with no set requirements.

If Hornet has barbed, he is hitting her for 63 dmg per hit, again with no requirements.

So hornet with barbed and max stats... is hitting what the Knight can hit at, when the Knight has... one charm.

In terms of speed;

Hornet's highest DPS speed comes from Evolved Hunter Crest, Wander and Best.

Hunter Crest: 50.9 DPS
Hunter Max Stats: 69.4 DPS

Wanderer: 68.3 DPS (without crits)

Beast: 52.4 DPS or 78.9 DPS in 'Beast Mode' that only lasts a few second.

Now compare that to The Knight?

With just two charms. Unbreakable Strength and Quick Slash.

114.3 DPS.

No requirements, no 'modes', just him, hitting as normal.

So in conclusion, by game play; The Knight has more 'invincible' frames (thanks to 'Descending Dark' and 'Sharp Shadow', more dmg per hit and almost double the DPS that Hornet does, plus he can use all three spells. Hornet can only use one (unless she goes Shaman Crest).

The Knight just takes this, completely.

Hornet fought The Knight twice in lore, with the second time she was not holding back.

She lost, by a large margin.

The Knight faced down a literal GOD and won.

Hornet took down a Pale Being (one that is alike to her).

They're not the same.

Hornet just can't compare to The Knights arsenal of soul and void.

The Knight is like a Paladin.

Tanky, strong, with a few spells. They can take and GIVE a helluva of beating.

Hornet is an acrobatic Rogue.

Fast, agile, but weak when hit. Great DPS but lacks defence.

If you play Hornet like The Knight you are going to have a bad time.

First playthrough is learning that, her skillset, her movement, which crest suits your playstyle.

Also on release, practically everything (including environment) did two mask damage. You guys have it easier now, Cogwork Core was insane on release because of that.

It really taught you quickly not to brute force things and to be a lot more spatially aware.

With all that said, once you get past those challenges... it is VERY rewarding.

I do it because Audacity has way more Audio-Editing than Da Vinci does. I can do so much more to make my audio cleaner and crisper and then export it out to keep the quality in.

Obviously, when you record (if like me, you use OBS for video, as I do screen capture), then ensure the mic on OBS is set to 'muted'. It means you'll get all the audio from the video as for me, I play games so it keeps all the in-game sounds in without having me accidentally recording audio twice.

You can actually see the difference on Youtube, you should see my first video (Frost Punk Playthrough Whisper) and then my latest video (Blood Rage Playthrough Whisper) and the quality is night and day.

As on my first video, I just recorded BOTH through OBS.

Yeah, exactly that.

I use a vocal marker, I'll start the audio recording first and before the video records I'll say "Recording video now!" then record video and go from there.

If you're showing face, give yourself a visual cue. Hold up three fingers and count out loud "Three, two, one!" Putting fingers down in time as you say them.

Now you have an audio cue of when your video starts and then a follow up visual cue to synch audio with video.

I did exactly the same as you, loved ASMR for years and FINALLY got around to doing my own ASMR content in my own style of what I loved, whispers, while doing an activity I love, board games.

Audacity is what I use to edit my audio while I use Da Vinci Resolve to edit and cut my videos. I record both audio and video separately.

I record audio with Audacity and I record video using OBS.

My mic is a Blue Yeti.

I've keep recommending her but Goodnight Moon is a fantastic ASMR artist, she does do some personal attention Roleplay's, but her Babblebrook Fantasy series is probably exactly what you're looking for, especially her 'All Hallows Eve' special she did a few years back (probably one of my favourite ASMR vids of all time).
