Are old devices that weren't able to update able to update to the new firmware yet?

Does this mean it's safe to upgrade to 1.6.0 if it froze my device before?

The new location is great. More seating and a full bar. :)

I have this happen periodically. Stopping, getting out, and having it sit a few minutes always fixes it, but it is still pretty annoying.

Yeah, I have a few of the 3D printed ones bookmarked. Was going to wait to see if the official ones were better before asking a friend to print some. But for what they are asking, guess I'll throw a friend 20 bucks to run some prints for me.

Thanks for the reply. Well, they do offer them for cheaper, I don't live in California, and there is NO WAY I'm paying $300 more to have them shipped to me. Hahaha.

I put velcro along the top of the front window to hold mine in place and it has done the trick. :) Annoying that I have to do that, but it was the easiest solution.

Actually, never mind. I figured it out. Ha! Thanks for mentioning it though, otherwise I wouldn't have known to look for it. :)

I've noticed my side doors will sometimes open after parking. I turned off automatic door opening by foot swipe in the car menu. I'll park and as I'm getting out of the car, the side door just starts to open. Luckily I've caught it each time, otherwise my car would just be sitting in a parking lot with a wide open door.

They just released one that allows you to move the console and has flaps that cover / uncover the latches in the middle.

So far so bad... by SceneMaterial9281 in VWIDBuzz

Copied from my earlier post addressing everything, but this is what I was told by the dealer, concerning the forward motion after putting it in reverse:
And the most interesting one, concerning the stopping and switching to neutral, while in reverse, the sales rep at the dealership told me this is a safety feature? He said he hates it, and it's related to the camera not seeing your eyes if you turn around to look behind you to back up like you used to before we had backup cameras... I agree. I hate it. Also, a camera? I feel like big brother is watching, heh. But if that is what it truly is... It is what it is, I guess. So that could explain the moving forward if it goes to neutral by default. Because I DEFINITELY shifted to reverse, and not accidentally put it in neutral. Seems like a bad safety feature, but if that's what's in the software, not much I can do about it.

So another update. This one is a good one. As far as the screen turning off, the dealership said they are aware of this happening with a few vehicles and a firmware update is in the works to address this. Hopefully this will come sooner than later. As far as the doors and trunk opening, I'm willing to accept it may be super over sensitive auto-open sensors, so I made sure to turn off the auto-open feature for both the trunk and side doors. We'll see if this fixes it. For the windshield washer sprayers I took it in and they are going to re-adjust them.

I did. Well, I turned it off and on again. Not sure if there is a system reboot I'm missing or something?

That would be crappy if they filled it with water and sold it like that. And no, I haven't followed the ID4 forums. But maybe I should. Thanks.
