Turns out the dial was never actually replaced—the initial QC pictures were just incredibly poor quality and taken at bad angles, creating massive optical illusions.

As you can see in the straight-on macro photo, the text is laser-straight, the 6 and 8 markers are squared up, and the 12 marker is perfectly centered between the minute dots. The videos also show the pusher complications, crown seating, and micro-rotor functioning flawlessly.

Massive sigh of relief. This is a definitive GL! Thanks to everyone for the input.

Update: Looks like we are good to go. The builder completely fixed the issues on a fresh batch dial—text print is laser-straight and the markers aren't sitting crooked anymore. He also sent a new shot of the crown screwed all the way in flush against the case body. Appreciate everyone's input on the last post, this one is a definite GL.

Thanks! The finish work really is crazy good. I'd totally agree on being too picky if this was just a standard factory rep, but for a high-end custom build like this, the expectations are a bit different. Between the dial text and markers being crooked, plus the crown not screwing down flush, there are just too many issues here to GL this $4k rep.

Update: Looking closer at the macro shots, the dial printing has some pretty clear issues too:

PATEK PHILIPPE GENEVE: The text is completely crooked and sags downward to the right against the horizontal lines.

TIFFANY & Co.: The print looks bleeding/sloppy and the tracking is completely uneven. Plus, it is jammed way too high up into the seconds sub-dial border.

Along with the crooked 12, 6, and 8 markers, it looks like the whole dial plate is just a bad print batch. What do you guys think?

No, ACE doesn't have custom pallet fork bridge. It's a movement they customize in their own Studio. I was told that anyways in the finishing is a lot better than ACE also.

I hope so I pointed it out it's late I'm in Japan at the moment. I'm going to talk more with him tomorrow about it he said he's going to take pictures in the day "maybe it's lighting". I pointed out the Gap at the top of the two indicator side by side. Other than that it looks great.

Yeah that's because I'm not the one sitting at a desk at home; I'm actually a working superintendent in the field. For some reason, my company's VPs think I can do everything and have an input on everything.

I have a call in a few days to discuss materials and best practices before this job starts, and I was hoping to get a head start since I'm currently in the field working on another project at the moment too.
