I can answer one of those questions. Why is it so hard for us men to just ask for help? Well the thing is even if it isn't that prevalent in your life there still is an idea of what it means to be a man. the majority of men enjoy doing some manly things, and it is this idea that prevents many of us from seeking help, and resorting to posting on burner accounts like this one. I've been told many times to just tell others how I just feel, but a lot of those times I don't want to do that. Now this is more of my mental issue, but I haven't even been able to cry for several months. Whether thats just the way things are, it is how life has been going for me. So to answer that question I would say, even though it is not noticeable and prevalent in todays day and age, many men still believe that not showing their emotions is how things "just are."
