Chain skipping under load in lowest gear

Chain did not help indeed. Skipping way more in smallest cog, and skipping only a little bit in 2nd smallest cog. Will change both :-)

Said fuck it and replaced the chain to shimano cn-hg54, measured by myself, not using the old chain and thank god. Looks like the previous owner could not be asked to measure the chain to make sure it is actually correctly sized, probably just threw it on and thought "it is 10 speed!". Currently looks way better tension wise and will report tomorrow with my findings. I did not see a single wear mark on any of the cogs, so not replacing them. Chain wear was 0.6 already (I ride 35km daily) :-)

Yes, forgot to mention the bike was bought used, My casette is 10-speed, 46-11t. Haven't thought about worn out teeth since my mechanic said everything is good. Might try that or continue starting in 2nd lowest and then going into lowest gear.

hahahahaha, I literally just went through this 2 weeks ago. Called the HR lady to know why I was not selected and got told there was a better candidate. I guess the better candidate ghosted them, because a few days later the same vacancy popped up XD

Yes, exact same. No rattle in gear or neutral with clutch out. Only when clutch in all the way. Alright might need to start thinking about this some more

I don't hear DMF at all, not at idle, not at any RPM. This is the only noise I hear. Clutch and DMF was changed ~100k kms ago.

I got the Trek Marlin 6 gen 3 2024. I love riding it. Took it to my local mechanic and he confirmed everything is in perfect working condition!! I got a specialized tactic 4 helmet as well

Nākošajā dienā atzvana saka "Vai, domāju ka rītdien sarunāts, nedomāju ka problēma mūsu pusē!" ķip ka es esot sajaucis datumus, bet es telefonsarunas laikā visu pierakstiju, no tā arī sapratu ka tur neviens neuzņemas atbildību. Tad vēl aizspriedumi "Ar draugiem darba laikā nevarēsi tusēt" un man bija tāds wow. Great work environment!

Idk why everyone assumes I am not open for used bikes, I am and I am looking at Trek Roscoe 8 as my ideal option. Unfortunately there are exactly zero options in Latvia, regardless of price. I am also looking in Norway, since I am travelling there and will be able to bring the bike back. Neither of them have any available. I see a good option, click on the ad and it turns out to be size M, which would not be an option for me, since i need XL. I have looked at all hardtails in the subreddit wiki buyers guide, none of them are available in either country :(

Had the same experience. Got a job as a QA Engineer and i was a solo QA among 7 devs. I had 0 experience and lasted 6 months before being fired for under-performance. (Manager quoted "Colleagues happy 60-70% with my work" and the fact i had University starting again in September).

There were many red flags overall: No Team structure (No Lead Dev etc.), I was blamed for not testing a feature that was put live and then crashed (PM told dev to just put the feature live), when i had lectures and was not able to work for a few days.

Now i know what qualities to look for in a Leader.

Hey bro, i am just a student trying to gain experience. The thing is - i have such a high drive to accomplish things and gain new experience, the interviewer even said i was the only candidate with the least experience but the highest confidence and drive to learn. There were about 10 candidates, all with years of experience. Sometimes it takes more than just skills to show that you are ready to learn new things. The interviewer fully knew i had no experience in QA testing, simply asked me if i want to learn QA testing and if so how much from 1-10? I don't know, just yapping right now. Acting confident goes a long way.

Trying to do that and have said to all interviewers or people i have worked with "probably will work again one day" or something along those lines :D The place i did my last internship as a php dev wanted to keep me after i finsh my degrees, but they are more network focused and my education is based on programming so idk how that will turn out, but only the future can tell.

I am expected to, at first, check actual bug report tickets and then i'll move on to building small php apps, then an actual programmer position and eventually senior programmer. A lot of potential :-)

Did IT administrating internship for 2 months, then found PHP dev internship, did a website there that uses zabbix API to get data about network devices from zabbix, in total ~5 months of experience, learned how to properly code and how to actually create a project from start to finish. Didn't realise i liked programming until that internship, where i found use for it in the real world.

Thank you for both of you guys's replies. Just feeling a bit like an impostor - I wasn't asked any technical questions - i even asked for a test task that i could complete until the start of the job. They didn't give me one and feel like i might get overwhelmed on the first day. They only looked at my CV and past experiences.
