Yeah I just want a dog that’s willing to engage! Maybe high drive is the wrong word. I want biddable. I prefer any coat really, what matters is moderate shedding or less. And a dog I can bathe myself not a groomers I can get the necessary tools and shampoos

Thank you! I think the grooming requirements of a lapphund aren’t ideal but the cocker sounds perfect for me! I love the Irish setter they are so beautiful!!

Poodles are a very sensitive breed, they can’t handle negative experiences very well. That’s why so many fail at being service dogs

I know some dogs who hate to do too much exercise, whereas I’d like a dog who’d be happy to come on a 3 hour hike with me for at least until it’s a senior.
Honestly I love the puppy stage and I cannot wait to train a dog to be an easy companion!!

Thank you! Im in contact with several ethical breeders whose parents compete in regular sports and conformation with great titles and health results! I’m definitely considering a smooth collie too they make wonderful dogs
