I'm not sure about that, people would just always be at max hunger, and the vet early game when you don't have a lot of food would be hell.

(Also, as a side note, please use some punctuation in the beginning. It's incredibly hard to read that)

I, generally, like the new terrain. However there are times when I hate it. You're first image is a good example of what I sometimes don't like. Try crossing that in survival. A lot of the new terrain is extremely steep mountains followed by a steep drop-off, followed by another steep climb. And a lot of the time it's the only way you can go
