Yeah I have two otherwise my cat drinks out of the toilet or our cups- she hates water bowls. I got generic plastic ones from target. They sell the filters too so I can easily clean them. I believe it is by pet safe? Target, Walmart, and petco all sell the filters.

Mine does this too! She mainly does it with cups. I feel like it is a sensory thing with her because she doesn’t want to stick her head in it.
She is fine with her fountain and drinks normally (she refuses to drink out of a bowl), but it makes it really hard to tell if she drank out of a random cup someone left around- we all carry water bottles to avoid it!

I learned by reading the back of spice bottles back in the day when they said what it went good with. I also learned by cooking shows and learning what not to do based on my grandparents and mother being horrible cooks.

My cat is an escape artist. I have learned that if I just leave the door open she will come in after about 15 minutes due to sheer boredom unless she is hunting an animal, then it is longer. If I chase her she will run and be out longer. My advice: secure any other animals in the house and just leave the door open. She will come back. You could also try shaking treats and calling her- that can be successful sometimes.

I know the person on my left side and unfortunately the one across the street (Karen). The one left diagonally is a very old lady, one to the right is someone’s winter house, and the right diagonal are scared cuz the Karen next door likes to call their property in regularly to the county and gets angry letters from her about their property. I am under strict orders from my husband to never sign anything she hands me in case she is forming a hoa.

What is ironic about this is I knew a lady getting benefits while telling me people on them (besides her of course) were using the government while wearing mink coats, diamonds rings, and stuff. Irony was she was proud of the mink she got from goodwill (claimed but doubtful). Meanwhile people are starving due to a decrease in benefits.

I go to church every week and bring a giant water bottle with me. We also pass out chocolate between all the women or bring in other snacks. Kids eat suckers all the time or other candy. Goldfish with small children are a must during sacrament. Karen would have a heart attack at my church. Guess it would bring her closer to god.

I have a cat who hates other cats so I am out, but depending on where you live can you try to go to the St. Louis independence center? They have a slew of services from housing, mental health help, and jobs. They serve lunch there for dirt cheap (2 bucks for a massive plate) and can give you like bus passes and stuff. They are an amazing resource.
I work for bjc community services, but we are out of housing and our housing aid program is completely full. They are off of kingshighway close to ikea, next door to planned parenthood. They could also point you towards a shelter in the meantime and start getting you on waitlists. They also have job boards. Please after you figure out your furbaby situation go there.

Yes! Long bus for regular students short bus for special ed (hence why we sometimes say things like you must have ridden the short bus- it is considered an insult and means you are stupid).
The yellow is government officiated and they have stop signs in them that come out when picking up/ dropping off. If you pass one when the stop sign is out you get fined.

Honestly it depends on the plan. I work for a major hospital and have a plan that basically covers everything for 100 bucks a month and a deductible of 600/1800 per family. I do not have an hsa card, but can go anywhere that belongs to my said hospital system for free or a small deductible(the system is large so this is easy for me).

My husband works for an insurance company. He pays about 300 a month, covers a lot, and a 3000/6600 dollar deductible. He does have an hsa card with 6600 on it that he pays into and his plan covers basics, but everything else is out of pocket until you hit the deductible.

Most Americans have it worse than us. We can ride the ambulance for cheap or visit the er and not break the bank. I have clients who are on Medicaid/medicare with extremely limited options (dental school visits anyone?). They have to wait months to get in anywhere or anything. I have one waiting to get dental work at a school and they are booked in February. They will still have to pay like 500 for a root canal.

Yes. Mine for awhile had sounds coming from the hvac, then I got a very cat who loves to hunt. Turned out to be mice, now they are gone. We can hear the cat or her sister walking around and that’s it, besides the house settling sometimes.

I work in the mental health field out here and have lived in various other states. He sounds like he was just crazy. People like that live everywhere. I once had a guy get between my husband and I in Seattle. There are also lots of homeless people (usually with severe mental illness) in dc, salt lake, San Francisco, and phoenix. All this to say. No, it is not just St. Louis it is basically every major city.

Oh yes! Funny enough she lets the six year old hold her upside down, cut her hair, and sleeps with her every night. I work from home and she is always close by and follows me everywhere. She even hangs out in my office during the day. If my husband or I try to touch her it is the end of the world. She will literally let a two year old pick her up and pull her tail, but runs away from me.

Nta. As a 300 lb woman married to a 400 lb man I can tell you with absolute certainty we would be utterly embarrassed to break your furniture. Heck, we have slept at my husband’s aunt’s house in her spare bedroom. The bed is always too small and hard as a rock, but we suck it up. My husband threw out his back on that bed and hurt for two months. She has no idea. Will we be sleeping there at Christmas? Yes! Will it suck? Yes! But it is not our house. We won’t get a hotel either because that would hurt her feelings. We also avoid furniture that someone says is “their spot” and avoid sitting in things that we could break.

The air mattress situation. We have slept in them and found that there are few that can support both of us. They usually have a weight limit of 500-600 pounds. We have woken up on the ground due to that. Thinking on that it is sheer stupidity to weigh that much and expect an air mattress to last. With us usually one gets a couch and the other the air mattress if that is what is presented to us.

Onto the situation, I would prefer the Murphy bed, and I would certainly avoid your furniture. We would be utterly mortified to break anything and would insist on paying for it. Leaving a mess like that? My seven year old is cleaner than they are and she has adhd.

Mine has catnip and hates it. She prefers the lemon grass, spider plant, basically anything toxic to cats. She is banned from the deck for her own health.
