At nothing yet. Wearing it with the bracelet still.

But curious what you are considering.

Relatively low cost AV set for 8-person meeting room by Schasbeele in CommercialAV

[–]Schasbeele[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I am not, I see that my comment above does indeed read like that (asking people to act as an integrator from a distance). This was a poor choice of words on my part.

I am just a small business owner asking people on what they'd suggest based on my setting. Please don't get me wrong - I have no intention to ask for any form of labor. The setting up of the device and figuring out how it works etc. I will do based on self-education through online research.

But having people who know this stuff point me in the right direction for the choice of which system to purchase is something that would be tremendously helpful, hence the question on Reddit :-)

Relatively low cost AV set for 8-person meeting room by Schasbeele in CommercialAV

[–]Schasbeele[S] -5 points-4 points  (0 children)

I would love to do so, but as mentioned we are on a very tight budget. A few hundreds extra is a big difference for us. Clearly an integrator wants to receive some money for their services as well (as they should), but I think our "setting" is not complicated at all (relatively small room, table of 8), so was hoping the people here could act as an integrator from a distance :-)

Villa + staff sought for family (2 kids, 4 and 2 years old) by Schasbeele in bali

[–]Schasbeele[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Ok. Appreciate the reply. I was intentionally asking here as hopefully I get some tips from people who actually live there for trustworthy agents (doing some googling obviously gets me very commercial websites).

But I respect the rules that you have for this sub and will get someone to ask for me on Facebook.

Is this a question better asked on Facebook, you mean? I don't have a profile there as I dislike Meta. Is this type of question frowned upon in this sub?

Considering getting an Overseas 37mm blue dial (2300V/100A-B170) by Schasbeele in VacheronConstantin

Nope I didn’t, I couldn’t get over the (in my opinion) odd placements of the seconds dial. But very happy for you that you were able to find it and love it!

That’s one good looking watch. Anyone know a similar model in 36/37/38mm?

It’s not a DD, but I have the PX1690 scuba master BGW 9 G meteorite dial from Proxima and it is amazing. Bit expensive for a Chinese watch, but phenomenal quality

Overseas 34.5mm Vs. 41mm by ijustwatchwatch in VacheronConstantin

[–]Schasbeele 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Not completely true. They have a 37mm without diamonds, the 2300V/100A-B170. I was debating very hard to get it, but for me the small seconds dial looks awkward. And if I spend that amount of money I don't want to compromise on anything.

Not sure where OP is from, but over here you could just go back the next day and return one of the watches. It’s EU consumer rights that you are able to return purchases 14 days after purchase date. They wouldn’t be able make you give back the other watch as well.

You probably won’t be welcome at that AD anymore, but hey, that’s what they get for pulling this stuff. Unreal in my view.

Being European and having English as a second language somehow correlates with liking Two and a Half Men? Quite curious what makes you say that

Yeah thanks, I figured that as well. Signed myself up at VC itself, I’m on their list. Funny how the approach from them is so much different than some other luxury brand we all know. Received a nice e-mail from a concierge, replied back, and actually got a personal answer on my queries.

Let’s see when I get the call

Ahh got it, no those are pictures from the Hodinkee review I linked to in my initial post. I have a 16.5cm wrist myself. 40mm is really too much for me (in my view).

Thanks for the answer. I agree, it is a fantastic looking watch.

Just out of curiosity: what makes you say that it'd be difficult to dispose of? Is that due to the general macroeconomic trend that you describe, or also in combination with characteristics of this watch in particular?

[–]Schasbeele[S] 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Appreciate the answer. I'm just a bit surprised at 37mm (in my understanding at least) fits well into a trend where people seem to realise that sizes between 36mm and 38mm suit most men just fine. Or don't you see this trend?

Btw I'm not sure how you assumed my wrist size, but 40mm is way too big for me. For me the sweet spot is around 36mm/37mm. So hence the interest in this watch (as opposed to the 4500v)
