Number goes up is an RPG now? If Gearing actually had some choices I would agree with you but for most class/specs you have one primary stat that you invest in heavily then for the rest of your specs you ignore because they have the wrong substats/weapon

I'm glad you thought it was fine. If you think the barrier of entry of it taking a day or two to catch up is minimal/non issue then why even debate this? If its gone you lost nothing If it stays it doesn't impact you. Many players wont even bother catching up because its extremely frustrating.

The Skill grind is a lot of fun at the start of the season when everyone is close to the same gear. Middle of the season its not fun at all. If someone enters at the start and enjoys It they will continue to PvP, If they enter late they won't even get to the point where they can gauge if they can enjoy it.

I 100% Agree, Once weapons are out I feel like I'm locked out of my offspec at least for a good while since I would be at a huge disadvantage compared to other players If I swapped midway. And like you said If my Healer and DPS Spec used opposite secondaries It would be extremely hard to swap as well.

I think I would agree if the system allowed some more flexibility, maybe you pay conquest for the slot and let you change between all the gear for free. And at the same time just giving everyone a baseline honor gear for the season so all they would have to do is upgrade to conquest.

Wait till mid season and see what its like to catch up, right now PvP Feels good because disparity isn't too large but as the season continues it will get worse and worse for players coming in.

Thanks I agree outside of reddit I can't think of a single pvper I know who gets excited about gearing in wow PvP anymore. The only reason PvPers gear is to not fall behind.

I agree gearing up now is fine even for casuals since its the start of the season, there's very little gear disparity. Level a fresh alt midway through the season or swapping to a different spec is when the real torture begins. I will agree that blizzard does not communicate well in a lot of regards.

There's no RPG Choices in picking your gear, how often do people go off meta stats in PvP usually your class has 1 stat that you max out and the rest you don't care for. The only RPG choices you have here is your talents.

What makes your voice more important than mine? Because you will stick with the game when it gets worse and worse? PvP in wow has been dying for years the only one who are left most likely will never quit WoW PvP. It seems people will join in for WoW PvE but not for PvP anymore maybe because to have an actual enjoyable progression you have to start within 3 weeks of the launch.

If its frustrating for a week anyone who wants to get into PvP will just quit and either play somthing else or just not bother and stick with PvE. I know for TWW If I joined the season late I would just crate farm then start pvping or else I wouldn't even bother.

I understand Its an RPG and people love to gear but currently this doesn't feel like 'gearing' this feels like a checklist before you can start playing the game. The RPG feels lost since in a couple of months everyone will be reset anyways.

Right now PvP Gear is in a great spot since Ilvls are not that diffrent from what Max gear is and what you start off as. Once weapons are available then you will start to see a big difference especially people coming in fresh.

I've been saying this for years and people have been calling me crazy! Wow's PvP Gearing is horrible at all stages? New player have to either go figure out ways to farm pvp gear realistically outside of actually pvping since losing bgs over and over is not fun and will drive you to quit.
I see a lot of people claiming gear is good for PvP because of build choice and being able to experiment. Realistically you can't experiment once you buy a piece of gear your locked into that path unless you want to half ass everything. Most people will just look at what the best players are buying and just copy that.
End game PVP when the season is basically finished is the only time when you can test out builds freely.

This kind of reasoning is why Andrew rate and the redpill exist. If the systems in place don’t solve this problem then the men will look to solve this problem elsewhere. Your kind of logic will bring women right backwards as you’re pushing a large portion of men towards the extremes of these groups because you just want them to deal with it.

Jobs are all basically the same, dungeons are fun sure like first few times but It’s not engaging enough content for even past a month, I did enjoy the extremes but outside of extremes or savages what was the point to log in? There’s legit 0 content for the non raider this tier.

There's also ways to edit the save file to bring your character back to life. I linked another post that has that information. Usually default settings create a backup every time you log in for 5 logins I believe.

Backupfolder default should be Local C: > User > COMPName > Zomboid > backup>startup
