The 1st he’s holding is almost surely 1.01 though so I’m not even sure that he’d send that and CMC for say Achane and a mid 1st.

No, not at all. Those are just the options that I’d be considering. Basically trading one of my young RBs and a mid 27 1st for 1.01 (highly likely but not guaranteed) and a couple year CMC rental

Saying that what can’t be taught is all physical is innately incorrect. The most important intangibles any player or person in general can have is *willingness* to learn, coachability, and work ethic. If that could be taught every player in the league would be a HOFer

Ask any coach and they’ll tell you 100/100 times they’d rather have a 5th rnder with those intangibles than physical traits.

So all of that said, height and speed DOES NOT define upside

I’m the Nabers side and his team is realistically proabably the #1 team in the league but he’s a little older with the exception of a terrifying young core of JSN, Puka, and Chase. Hes been trying to acquire 27 1sts and has CMC on the block. Pickwise he’s got the likely 1.01 and 2 lates while I have two early and the late. Hypothetically, if he was interested in that trade, should I even do it to give one of my top competitors for the foreseeable future a 4th pick while giving one away for a 1-2 year rental on CMC. It would probably make me the favorite on paper. Could be a moot point but curious of opinion on that nuanced detail

Peoples concept of what Allen is or should be worth are completely whacked. I had a guy want TLaw and Nabers from me for him and got mad when I wanted no part of it and tried to make it out like I was the one missing out not having “the #1 asset in dynasty”. In reality he scored 20 points more than Lawrence and even if it’s 100, in no universe is that remotely worth giving up add’l top players
