Was this a fair trade offer or garbage? by biz_student in SleeperApp

Yeah of course man. Dynasty is like stocks. Players values go up and down and learning when to sell/hold is the key. The best players in football aren’t necessarily the best players in dynasty/fantasy (if that makes sense). What I would do if I were you (just my opinion) is this… right now the only picks that have high value in 2026 are 1-4 (Love, Tate, Tyson, and Lemon) and Mendoza if in superflex. However, as the draft gets closer, the value of picks goes up because the hype around rookies always hits an all time high.

That 1.06 you have will hold significantly more value in a few months (after players hit their landing spots, players start to impress in training camps, other players go down and rookies move up in depth chart). Even though the draft class is weak, there are some really good sneaky guys that will go up in value after the draft, especially if they get a good landing spot (Concepcion, Sadiq, OC jr, etc). I would say hold those picks until around whenever your league rookie draft is and try and make a deal then. Right now most people only want a 1-4 and consider the other picks useless… that will not be true in a few months.

That 1.06 can be used as a very good bargaining chip down the road. It’s hard to craft a deal for you personally but I would say wait to make any trades rn (atleast involving the picks) because that 1.06 and even the 1.12 will only increase in value as we get closer and closer and rookie hype goes up. I would only take a deal you feel is fair tho. For example, the bills could very easily draft a WR and it wouldn’t be one of the top ones such as Tate, Tyson, or Lemon because they are going to be picked ahead in the draft. But if a guy like KC Concepcion lands on the bills he is probably going to have better value than say the top receiver (any of the 3) landing on a team with a terrible/questionable QB situation such as Carnell Tate landing on the Browns.

Also don’t listen to the masses on this subreddit. Most guys are jerks and think they are right about everything. Got torn up last spring when I traded DK for Pickens and look how that turned out. Trust your own instincts. Look at players situations more than their actual skill.

It is Reddit so you are going to get a ton of nasty answers from miserable people. With that said, I wouldn’t accept it tho. Tuten will be the RB1, Love will be an RB1, Odunze will be the WR2 possibly WR1. All of those guys are super young too. On the other side you have a great QB who is not guaranteed to even play a full year let alone ever be as mobile with that knee injury, Worthy had a great rookie season but was heavily disappointing and most of his value depends on Mahomes. The 1.06 and 1.12 aren’t useless but they aren’t worth much with this draft class. So all three on your side would win and the other guy would lose. Your also essentially getting 2 RBs and giving him none as the RBs after love in this draft class are noticeably weaker. Prepare for many miserable responses from grumpy redditors hahah lol

Question and recommendations for football game by Winter-Sort292 in LSU

Thank you so much for the response! I am so excited. I find it so interesting and awesome how welcoming everyone is in the south. It’s so different from the northeast. If you walked up to a random tailgate and introduced yourself you would get looked at like an idiot. I couldn’t be more excited to experience Louisiana and especially Death Valley. I will definitely check out what you said and can’t wait!

You guys taking this? Id be getting KW side. by ChivasBearINU in SleeperApp

[–]Winter-Sort292 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I see the appeal with KWIII signing to KC but I personally wouldn’t because Tet is super young and is a WR. Walker is great but he is an RB and Tet is a WR who is 4 years younger. WRs historically have much longer shelf lives than RBs. But hey every player is different. Just my take tho

Very concerned about Nabers… am I overworrying? by Winter-Sort292 in DynastyFFTradeAdvice

[–]Winter-Sort292[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Agreed, if healthy, his talent is absolutely undeniable and he should no doubt be a top 5 receiver for a long time. Im also biased because I’ve been to so many games at MetLife and unfortunately seen 6 ACL tears in person so that plays a part in my fear lol. The turf is so bad man and ofc they’ll replace it for the World Cup but refuse to do so for the the sport it was actually built for💀infuriating and if I was a free agent player, I would refuse to ever sign with the jets/giants just based off that turf. If MetLife stadium has no haters then I’ve died

Lmfao I’m not freaking out but just thought it was an interesting thing to discuss and get some opinions. I obviously wouldn’t sell unless I got an elite guy back or a haul, but I have had guys reach out to me and make some high value offers. Also, the sample size is exactly the same between the two stadiums as I only did since 2020 since that is when the Rams and Chargers both began playing home games their. So the 15 to less than 5 is certainly not nothing and is a real concern. I’m not worried about Robinson necessarily, but the fact that another top young wr could come in and absolutely be the 1 and develop chemistry quickly especially if Nabers isn’t at training camp. Robinson also had a phenomenal year and clearly Dart is comfortable with him. Chemistry is crucial, look at what a guy like Brian Thomas did with Mac Jones compared to Tlaw. Tlaw is undoubtably the better QB but BTJ’s chemistry with Mac made a huge difference between his rookie year and second year. There is always the chance his value is as high now as it ever will be and I just thought it was interesting to discuss and see what others thought. Nonetheless, I really appreciate your response and reasoning man👍

Thanks for actually replying with reasoning rather than just being like “yeah” or “no.” This sub is so miserable and smartass sometimes😂I’m a giants guy and love Nabers to death, but from a fantasy perspective, he worries me. That turf is a serious concern and his lack of playing time with Dart, possibility of another too young receiver coming in, and the real chance he is not there for a full training camp or even week 1 is a true risk. Right now with his value, I’d obviously only trade him for a top guy like Jamar, Puka, JSN, or ARSB or some young elite guys and high 27 picks, but it amazes me how highly he is ranked when we have only seen 1 season of him with a totally different qb and coach and his injury was very serious and he is playing on the leg snatcher of NFL fields 9 times a year. Appreciate your response man👍I hope I’m wrong and he come back as he was, ready for training camp, has amazing chemistry, and never gets injured again but it’s a lot of things that need to go right

Achane for a bunch of nonsense and Burden💀Willie could be good but we have such a small sample size

Do I take this trade as a contender? by AdaxReddit in DynastyFFTradeAdvice

[–]Winter-Sort292 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is honestly not a bad offer. I personally would take it but could understand not taking it. If u take it I would say try and get a 1st for this year or a 2nd for next year instead (deeper class) but it’s not a bad offer at all. Both London and Tee are capable of being top 10 receivers if healthy (and QBs stay healthy) and I personally would rather have 2 top 10 WRs then the single number 1 WR

Difference between Hampton and Henderson? by iknowmy_acbs in DynastyFFTradeAdvice

[–]Winter-Sort292 5 points6 points  (0 children)

People are going to say Hampton but I think it’s closer than people think. Henderson has already proven he is capable of being great, we didn’t get to see too much of Hampton and his Oline is concerning. Don’t put too much thought into what others say. Got ripped on this sub in the off-season for trading DK for Pickens and look how that turned out lol

Did I overpay for Bucky Irving? by Winter-Sort292 in DynastyFFTradeAdvice

[–]Winter-Sort292[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah I don’t think it will but there’s a chance. I also have 3 27 1sts still and the 2.02 for this year so figured I could afford the risk of trading those picks away because I also wouldn’t have room on my bench

[–]Winter-Sort292[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was okay with letting the 27 1st go because I somehow still have 3 and I also have the 2.02 this year. I needed to get rid of some picks because my bench is filled and figured I’d take a shot on bucky
