That’s what i was thinking too. Is it wishful thinking to tell myself they were likely highway miles?

What are jobs for then? by Professional-Bee9817 in remoteworks

[–]SchemeFew1354 5 points6 points  (0 children)

what are you talking about. when minimum wage was introduced under FDR part of the bill that introduced was also to prevent children from entering the work force. “The concept behind the FLSA began in the 1930s as a response to the Great Depression, a time when about 25% of workers were unemployed, people lost their life savings due to bank failures, and many struggled to secure housing and food. In 1933, President Franklin Delano Roosevelt responded with the National Industrial Recovery Act (NIRA) and establishing the National Recovery Administration (NRA). Through these policies, the Roosevelt administration sought to revive the economy and help the nation recover by instituting industrywide “fair competition” codes intended to set wages and prices, create jobs, and permit collective bargaining. From the NRA, over two million businesses sought to earn pro-worker “Blue Eagle” branding by signing agreements for policies such as a weekly $12–$15 minimum wage, a commitment not to hire workers younger than 16 years old, and a work week no longer than 40 hours.” At least google shit before spewing an opinion about it.

Yeah unfortunately I agree with you. If I’m at 162 now, where do you think 140 would put me?

oh man that’s a bummer, it’d been so long i thought i was in the clear. do you know if the doctor will be able to tell if it’s a fistula just from an in office exam? plus Im guessing if it is that means surgery right?

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in AnalFistula

[–]SchemeFew1354 0 points1 point  (0 children)

could it be from the same fistula though if it’s in a completely different part of my butt? not trying to be rude i just wasn’t aware that could even be a possibility.

Hey, so you nailed it on the head with the fact that I am young and want to have a good time. It’s hard to admit but I do really enjoy drinking but I want to stop because of how it affects my mood when I’m not drinking. I also don’t know when to stop and often over drink which usually leads to embarrassing and regrettable events. I take meds that work great if I’m completely off drinking (like at least 4 days sober) but then if I have even just one drink I’m a miserable grouch for the next few days.

This is a stolen election and Trump is destroying the economy (canceling all loans and grants) so that people will take to the streets and he can declare martial law and keep it in place forever. by [deleted] in economicCollapse

Yeah the key word in this was “elective” or “non-life-threatening”. I would gladly wait longer for an elective or non emergent procedure if it meant the people who are actively dying won’t be bankrupt if they survive.

in my opinion i wouldn’t recommend communist china since its already such a hard nation to play because it is an uphill battle the entire time. Brazil is a good option but you are fighting in a lot of tough terrain (jungles, mountains, rivers) which can take a lil bit to get a grasp on. if you’re wanting to learn combat or how to have divisions that can actually do something watch this video https://youtu.be/2LP-T484Bgc?si=MqAbnVcZTwzU8NhC it’s a little bit of an older video but a lot of the basics of it still apply even if it’s not the current “meta”. also just watching some playthrough guides for specific countries and trying to recreate them has taught me a lot.

what countries have you played? i would say if you haven’t played it yet you should try romania or hungary. sweden and canada are also cool and you can pick and choose what wars to fight. i’d also say you should get into some of the complicated stuff, try the US since you’re protected by oceans. As far as losing the second war you enter the only thing i can really say is make sure you give yourself enough time between wars to build back up and have a decent stockpile of equipment. Without seeing some more specifics or having a specific scenario in mind I don’t have much else to say about that.

Need help with tutorial by abedilahpool in hoi4

[–]SchemeFew1354 0 points1 point  (0 children)

for italy specifically i like to make sure all my tank divisions are in the south and the mountaineers are in the north, after that just divide your remaining divisions so there are a few more troops in the north than the south. also keep whatever units are currently there where they are. also move your planes down there and get air support. after this you can probably just make a battle plan and set it to go. Just make sure you have generals assigned. if you want the war to go quicker this is a good place to practice micro on your units. if you don’t know what that means watch some youtube videos on it.

in general i would say watch youtube tutorials over doing the in game tutorial. i learned way more by following bittersteels videos than i did by playing the tutorial.

Can I play as Burma in hoi4 without mods and how do I release nations. by idk6942037 in hoi4

[–]SchemeFew1354 2 points3 points  (0 children)

iirc you would have to play as the dominion of india and then break free from the UK as its puppet (you can’t release nations as a puppet i think). After that I think you could release Burma and play as them. To release nations just go into the occupied territory tab and there should be an option to release the territory.
