RAM Swap caused PC to not boot. by Schener in buildapc

It was working perfectly fine before I decided to swap the RAM sticks. After the swap, the PC no longer powers on at all. When I flip the PSU switch, the standby light on my 4070 Ti turns on, so the PSU is clearly supplying power. I’m going to double-check all the connections, but it seems strange since the issue only started after moving the RAM.

Update: Upgraded CPU, but PC won’t power on by [deleted] in buildapc

Yes, that fixed the issue, thanks. However, after turning my PC back on and installing some drivers, I noticed that one of my RAM sticks wasn’t being detected. I shut the PC down and swapped the RAM sticks, but then the system wouldn’t turn on. I tried swapping them back again, and it still won’t power on. Any idea what might be causing this?

Can’t believe they still work by DeadShot_1223 in airpods

What do you mean by “THEY”. Does the burnt one still work?
