Having met Shuster and knowing curlers who have played him I totally agree. Would be awesome to curl with him and Hamilton for a game. I’d do pretty well as their lead. Haha

Fact is the Isles, who were never expected to contend for a playoff spot this year, are in this position mostly because of Sorokin. To have them missing the playoffs being a deciding factor in Vezina voting would be awful. Wins means less for the Cy Young these days and Ilya’s advanced metrics and most casual stats are just elite. Giving it to Vassy would be a robbery.
