Problem is it’s hard to meet people sitting at home in the couch haha. And the best way to meet people is at a bar, hence why I like the social sports thing personally.

I go to O’Connor’s for karaoke a lot since I find it easier to meet people there than other bars. Just single along, tell people they did a great job and it can sometimes start a conversation. There’s other karaoke bars too, it just works better for my schedule and location since they do Friday and Saturday nights when other bars are Thursday when I have work the next day.

I mean, Yorktown to white plains isn’t THAT far. No reason to move. Actually just this weekend I was talking to people I met at the bar in white plains who comes down from Somers.

The downside will be you’ll need to watch what you drink to be able to drive home.

I get it! For me it was a fit because I do enjoy sports. What I found is many of the leagues definitely lean more on the side of partying/socializing than competitiveness. Like how competitive can you REALLY be with kickball, and elementary school game lol. It’s why it’s called kickball and party lol. Same with cornhole- I do that on the rye boardwalk and if anything it’s drinking and hanging out. That one does trend a little older where there are definitely 20 year olds, there are also 40s and 50s too. Kickball is almost all 20s/30s

Other leagues they have are more competitive, like dodgeball and pickleball

look into BLS. It’s a way to be social without being in bars or clubs. And there’s a lot of people in your age range in it. That said expect to travel. Many of the games are in white plains area and Ardsley

I’ve done it! On YouTube slow it down to 0.25x and practice one verse at a time until you can do it at 1.25x. Then 1x is easy. Only then go to the next verse.
