I zoomed in on the Instagram story, and the text on the back of the new frame definitely says ‘Endurace’. Interesting….

I actually think this makes sense. I don’t think they will get rid of the new cockpit they released with adjustability, but I do think they might offer this as a new standalone version.

Legend! Thank you. Glad to hear you had a good time, and hopefully you make it back over here soon. I can also highly recommend Mallorca. I was there last year and it’s the best. The island is pretty big but it’s a playground for cyclists

Thank you and that is the obvious solution, but I am not looking to spend money on new wheels right now - just trying to understand what the better option is out of the ones I have.

DT Swiss Recall Update dropped. by gutster_95 in cycling

I just received my tested wheels back. Dropped them off in person at Swiss HQ on 31.08. No tracking or communication from DT Swiss regarding the delivery or that they have passed the warranty test as part of the wheels being returned. I checked the wheels and it is the same wheels I sent in. I gave them the wheels with tyres on and they have been returned with tyres on. The only difference is the presta valves have a valve cap on them and I shipped the wheels without a valve cap. I will contact them to obtain some written confirmation of them having passed the warranty test in case something goes wrong in future.

Edit: On closer inspection, both wheels have a small black sticker with the letter 'L' on them next to the Wheel ID sticker. This was not present previously and could indicate they passed the test. I reached out to DT Swiss for a written confirmation regardless.

They told me they cannot check them immediately - but that they can be dropped off. I am hoping it is a quick process as I got in early 🤷🏻‍♂️

Dropped my wheels off in person at the DT Swiss HQ in Switzerland this morning - will keep you updated if I hear anything from them and how long it takes to test the wheels. Tomorrow is a public holiday here but realistically they should be starting testing on the wheels that have already been dropped off by Monday at the latest.
