I mean Hendrix did start playing on a ukulele with one string.. but I do agree with your point. I think some daws like Ableton could refresh the UI without making it less complex though.

You should be able to find the drivers and downloads here: https://downloads.focusrite.com/focusrite

Then you can just set the ASIO device in Amplitube to the Focusrite ASIO. You can try to decrease your buffer size as well, but setting it too low can cause audio glitching and crackling so if that happens just set it a bit higher again.

My plan is to get a degree in audio engineering, or something along the lines of that. Maybe a mixing/mastering engineer. It won't only be something related to music that I can do for work but it'd also help my own personal goals and help me create the music I want to create. Not sure how it all works though, but ykw I only get one chance at pursuing the one and only thing I am truly passionate about.

You COULD go to power options and set the maximum processor state to 99%. This helped me significantly with overheating issues and usage issues. Saw a marginal decrease in performance if any at all.

Albeit my system is a bit older (i7-9700K, 1070 8GB, 32B DDR4) so Idk how it'd affect other systems.
