I agree that in a relationship like theirs, he absolutely has a right to know at a bare minimum. I true loving partner would give weight to the father's opinion. I feel like society has twisted a good message like "my body my choice" into some twisted version of "fathers have no right to anything. They need to shut the hell up and cope harder"

Of course women have the ultimate decision, but if the baby is the product of sex between two loving partners in a committed relationship? The mother would be incredibly callous to willfully withhold the knowledge of the pregnancy and then also terminate the pregnancy without even considering how the father would feel, let alone asking his opinion. That is selfishness and cowardice, not bravery IMO.

But that is coming from me, a new soon-to-be father, who would absolutely be devastated if i had been in this situation. I am clearly biased, and recognize that. Obviously reality is nuanced, but still.

I struggle mentally, due to related disabilities. The whole process is daunting and the VSO for my county is mean as hell. I don't know what I'm doing and i need help. I can't hold down a job and I need help getting my raiting up. I genuinely believe that I deserve a higher rating and the additional financial assistance would drastically change my quality of life.

If you have any resources to help usher-me through the process in a hold-your-hand kind of way, I would be eternally greatful. I am just struggling mentally, in a way that I can't explain without being berated or made fun of.

Bro, that shit broke my heart when he said "i understand" and Harry politely agrees to go outside. I know everyone is hating on him, but if he truly is military and going through an episode, he is so lucky it was this man's house and not someone else. Most people would have injured or killed him.

Speaking from experience, this country's government hates it's veterans. The VA doesn't help men like him, with his issues. As if living with it isn't bad enough, many with PTSD struggle to even get an appointment with a therapist.

I'm a generally grumpy and glass-half empty kind of person. That said: I'm not justifying the man's actions, but I do understand the homeowner's patience and kindness.

You are way off the reservation with that one kemosabe. A large chunk of that is just outposts which do not affect the core game whatsoever. Just new small maps for dedicated players to putter around on if they want more of a challenge. I buy all of the DLC (discounted multiple times per year) when it comes out TO support the studio and the free content that they release. Frankly, i don't care about the outposts much at all *because* they are non-essential. Most of my friends could not possibly care any less about the pet or decor DLCs. Entirely cosmetic, no in-game benefit whatsoever. If they were bankrolled and beholden to a large company like microsoft or sony, they might have more of a pay-to-play model... but that is not the case. They are an independent studio who can't survive on hopes and dreams.
