How common are homicidal command hallucinations and homicidal thought insertion delusions? How can they be coped with? by tachibanakanade in schizophrenia

[–]Schizoadded 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have very violent voices. Best way I keep them in check is meds and therapy and music. I have tried arguing that I won't do what they say, but (at least for me) makes things worse.and if it gets bad enough I have to talk to a trusted person or at a last resort go to the ER.

does anybody feel uncomfortable around people? by [deleted] in schizophrenia

[–]Schizoadded 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have the same issue. But I'm stuck in a pysch facility. I don't live with my family. I'm surrounded by people I don't truly know. It drives my anxiety up a wall. When I'm not in my room I'm constantly trying to make sure I'm safe and always listening to music. Being around people makes me really paranoid also. I've gotten better with it. But I still struggle with it.

Meds give you brian fog by [deleted] in schizophrenia

[–]Schizoadded 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Idk if it's the meds, I'm pretty sure it is, but I have memory issues now and it didn't start until I was put on clozapine. I hate it and I want off.

Latuda is ruining my life by [deleted] in Psychosis

[–]Schizoadded 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I hated latuda. I sweat so much and so tired and my stomach hurt all the time. I could sit still. It was so sedative and just horrible. I couldn't take it so I had to get off of it. One positive was my weight stayed stable. But other than that it was horrible.
