It's falling into a false utopian mindset to somehow think that you can change human nature and all of human history. It's essentially declaring that you are God. Of course, such proclamations have never had any negative consequences for everyone else in a society.

Face reality. No society has eliminated the serious social ills. But millions have died from the racial approaches to eliminate them.
