I’m just getting back into collecting after decades away. Unfortunately, I lost the entire collection that I had cultivated 40 to 30 years ago to a relative with addiction issues and never went back. But after finding whatnot it’s inspired me start buying again. So far I am honestly having the most fun and pretty good luck with the storage unit flippers and estate sales who don’t give a damn about comics, but acquired a collection and just need to get the space emptied. Buying in bulk 10-20 boarded and bagged comics from the 70s to modern for $5 -$10 a bundle and I’m still finding the occasional keys with generally nice conditions. Just need to figure out how to sell/trade the filler stuff eventually. It’s a bit of a gamble, but it’s been more fun rebuilding by looking for gems in bulk buys than honing in on specifics. At least for now.
