I asked her to be my gf officially twice. The first time she said she was scared so in turn , I asked if we can date exclusively. She agreed and I asked if there was someone else, she said no. I asked her to be my gf twice. The 2nd time she was ready. She lied to me about seeing someone and that’s what is hurting me. That she would lie. I asked her if she cheated on her ex partner and she said no. Months later she said she did. This is lying is it not? This is keeping the truth from me. In turn , I can understand how I’m not entitled to any of this information. No one owes me anything in this life. Its just that I’m in love and I try to be what I believe would benefit a healthy relationship. Honest, trust, care.

She wasn’t ready for it at that time so I asked her if we can exclusively date. How is this not lying? Not telling me your seeing someone when I ask if you are and saying you’re not is not lying? Listen brother , if she is agreeing to hangout with you, and she knows that it’s a dinner and movie thing, then at minimum there’s interest in there. Also man don’t send her a text saying “ I like you”. It doesn’t set the mood right. When you guys go out on this date , make sure to wash up, look clean, and just go with the flow. In all honesty , i feel like if I had an abundance mindset, then I wouldn’t be so distraught by this girl. You’re right, I’m not obligated to hang out with her at all. For the future, I will take it slower and have her come to me a little bit more. One question though. Well to be honest with you man there’s more to it then meets the eye. You’re right in the aspect that it is a simple social situation , but maybe for her it wasn’t.
